Waste of time for ppl who would be interested. That is to say, if you're picking this up you already are interested in scientific subjects, already know, for example, that the 'creation scientists' are more of a concern than, say, the debate over whether we should fund an inter-generational ship to the stars. <br><br>But guess what? It seems, based on these superficial essays, that many 'experts' are worried about the wrong things, too. At the very least, they often disagree <u class="showmore_hide">with one another. Also, they often worry about things that won't happen, if they do, for many many generations, dismissing the more immediate threats that would influence the likelihood of those long term concerns being relevant.<br><br>(If I'm wrong about the audience, and this is one of the first pop science books you've read, have at it.
