margin: auto ; border-radius: 5px" > </div> </div > </div> </div> <div>Zelfs een sidderaal kronkelt niet zo erg als de wijze waarop de nieuwe EBS-tarieven ter discussie staan. Al heel lang is het overduidelijk dat de subsidie op stroom moet worden afgebouwd. Er is een commissie benoemd om de prijs te berekenen en advies te geven aan de regering. EBS is ook een paar keren doorgelicht. Een eis van het IMF is dat de subsidie moet worden afgebouwd. Maar ook zonder het IMF moet er orde op zaken worden gesteld. <br></div><div><br></div><div>In feite is iedereen die oprecht kijkt naar de energietarieven het ermee eens dat je niet kan doorgaan met de miljarden subsidie per jaar. Maar om de massa mee te krijgen, is het nodig om open en eerlijk te vertellen waarom er zoveel subsidie wordt gegeven. Waarom de kostprijs zo hoog is. Waarom de prijs die Staatsolie doorberekent aan de EBS, niet kan worden verminderd. Hoe zijn deze prijzen opgebouwd? <br></div><div><br></div><div>Het bedrijfsleven, vooral de VSB, heeft in ronde woorden aan de regering 茅n het IMF gezegd dat de subsidie moet worden afgebouwd. De ASFA heeft later nuances aangebracht en heeft uitgelegd dat de productiesector te zwaar zal worden getroffen. Er is weer een snelle ronde van discussie geweest met het bedrijfsleven, want C-47 en enkele bonden roeren zich, maar hebben alle tijd nodig om te bekijken of ze wel mensen in beweging kunnen krijgen. <br></div><div><br></div><div>Intussen zijn de nieuwe tarieven ingegaan, zonder dat het Staatsbesluit nog is gepubliceerd met de nieuwe bedragen. De meeste mensen die onder de 900 kWh verbruiken, zullen nog geen zware verhoging zien, omdat nog tot maximaal SRD 400 wordt gesubsidieerd. Tot en met november zal het tarief in totaal met 68% de lucht ingaan. In elk geval zal tot juni de subsidie voor alle verbruikers tot 900 kWh er nog zijn, maar wat er daarna gaat gebeuren is nog niet duidelijk. <br></div><div><br></div><div>Hoewel het bedrijfsleven eerder 'ja' heeft gezegd tegen de afbouw van de subsidie, is maandag in de Staatsraad het Staatsbesluit waarin advies wordt gevraagd, 240 volt tegenstroom gegeven. Op de VHP en ABOP na, heeft iedereen het voorstel verworpen en een negatief advies uitgebracht. Maar de president hoeft zich niks aan te trekken van de Staatsraad en kan gewoon zijn gang gaan, want dat is al eerder gebeurd. <br></div><div><br></div><div>Alleen wordt er van achteren naar voren gewerkt. Zonder wetgeving in orde te hebben, zijn de nieuwe tarieven ingegaan. Deze vallen mee, omdat er nog subsidie is. Intussen worden Staatsolie en EBS nog gefileerd, terwijl de regering honderden miljoenen achterstand heeft omdat de stroomrekeningen niet worden betaald. Doordat de druk hoog is op de regering, zal uiteindelijk blijken dat de kostprijs veel lager zal uitvallen, waardoor een eerlijk tarief zal worden vastgesteld, vooral met de verkiezingen in het vooruitzicht.
