And there will be a time<MH6256> of distress<MH6869a> such<MH834> as never<MH3808> occurred<MH1961> since<MH4480> there was a nation<MH1471> until<MH5704> that time<MH6256>; and at that time<MH6256> your people<MH5971a>, everyone<MH3605> who is found<MH4672> written<MH3789> in the book<MH5612>, will be rescued<MH4422>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/daniel/12-2.htm"><b>2</b></a></span>And many<MH7227a> of those<MH3463> who<MH3463> sleep<MH3463> in the dust<MH6083> of the ground<MH127> will awake<MH7019a>, these<MH428> to everlasting<MH5769> life<MH2425b>, but the others<MH428> to disgrace<MH2781> <i>and</i> everlasting<MH5769> <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[a]</a></span>contempt<MH1860>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/daniel/12-3.htm"><b>3</b></a></span>And <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[b]</a></span>those who have<MH7919a> insight<MH7919a> will shine<MH2094a> like the glow<MH2096> of the <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[c]</a></span>expanse<MH7549> of<MH7549> heaven<MH7549>, and those who <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[d]</a></span>lead<MH6663> the many<MH7227a> to<MH6663> righteousness<MH6663>, like the stars<MH3556> forever<MH5769> and ever<MH5703>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/daniel/12-4.htm"><b>4</b></a></span>But as for you, Daniel<MH1840>, keep<MH5640> these words<MH1697> secret<MH5640> and seal<MH2856> up<MH2856> the book<MH5612> until<MH5704> the end<MH7093> of time<MH6256>; many<MH7227a> will roam<MH7751a> about<MH7751a>, and knowledge<MH1847> will increase<MH7235a>.” <p class="paragraph"><span class="reftext"><a href="/daniel/12-5.htm"><b>5</b></a></span>Then I, Daniel<MH1840>, looked<MH7200>, and behold<MH2009>, two<MH8147> others<MH312> were standing<MH5975>, one<MH259> on this<MH2008> bank<MH8193> of the stream<MH2975> and the other<MH259> on that bank<MH8193> of the stream<MH2975>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/daniel/12-6.htm"><b>6</b></a></span>And <i>someone</i> said<MH559> to the man<MH376> dressed<MH3847> in linen<MH906>, who<MH834> was above<MH4480, 4605> the waters<MH4325> of the stream<MH2975>, “How<MH4970> long<MH5704, 4970> <i>will it be</i> until<MH5704> the end<MH7093> of <i>these</i> wonders<MH6382>?” <span class="reftext"><a href="/daniel/12-7.htm"><b>7</b></a></span>And I heard<MH8085> the man<MH376> dressed<MH3847> in linen<MH906>, who<MH834> was above<MH4480, 4605> the waters<MH4325> of the stream<MH2975>, <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[e]</a></span>as he raised<MH7311> his right<MH3225> hand<MH3225> and his left<MH8040> toward<MH413> heaven<MH8064>, and swore<MH7650> by Him who lives<MH2416a> forever<MH5769> that <i>it would be</i> for a <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[f]</a></span>time<MH4150>, <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[g]</a></span>times<MH4150>, and half<MH2677> <i>a</i> <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[h]</a></span><i>time;</i> and as soon as <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[i]</a></span>they finish<MH3615> smashing<MH5310a> the <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[j]</a></span>power<MH3027> of the holy<MH6944> people<MH5971a>, all<MH3605> these<MH428> <i>events</i> will be completed<MH3615>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/daniel/12-8.htm"><b>8</b></a></span>But as for me, I heard<MH8085> but did not understand<MH995>; so I said<MH559>, “My lord<MH113>, what<MH4100> <i>will be</i> the <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[k]</a></span>outcome<MH319> of these<MH428> <i>events?</i>” <span class="reftext"><a href="/daniel/12-9.htm"><b>9</b></a></span>And he said<MH559>, “Go<MH1980> <i>your way,</i> Daniel<MH1840>, for <i>these</i> words<MH1697> <i>will be</i> kept<MH5640> secret<MH5640> and sealed<MH2856> up<MH2856> until<MH5704> the end<MH7093> time<MH6256>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/daniel/12-10.htm"><b>10</b></a></span>Many<MH7227a> will be purged<MH1305>, <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[l]</a></span>cleansed<MH3835a>, and refined<MH6884>, but the wicked<MH7563> will act<MH7561> wickedly<MH7561>; and none<MH3808, 3605> of the wicked<MH7563> will understand<MH995>, but <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[m]</a></span>those who have<MH7919a> insight<MH7919a> will understand<MH995>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/daniel/12-11.htm"><b>11</b></a></span>And from the time<MH6256> that the regular<MH8548> sacrifice<MH8548> is abolished<MH5493> and the abomination<MH8251> <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[n]</a></span>of desolation<MH8074> is set<MH5414> up<MH5414>, <i>there will be</i> 1,290<MH505, 3967, 8673> days<MH3117>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/daniel/12-12.htm"><b>12</b></a></span>Blessed<MH835> is the one who is patient<MH2442> and attains<MH5060> to the 1,335<MH505, 7969, 3967, 7970, 2568> days<MH3117>!
