青岛坐落在黄海胶州湾畔，位于山东半岛南端(北纬35°35′-37°09′，东经119°30′-121°)。辖市南、市北、四方、李舱、崂山、黄岛、城阳7个区和胶州、胶南、平度、莱西、即墨5个县级市，是一处风光秀丽的海滨城市，素有“黄海明珠”和“东方瑞士”之称。<br> <br> 青岛是中国道教的发祥地，东周时期建立了当时山东地区第二大市镇——即墨。秦始皇统一中国后，曾三次登临现位于胶南市的琅琊台。秦代徐福曾率船队由琅琊山起航东渡朝鲜、日本。汉代汉武帝曾在现位于青岛市城阳区的不其山“祀神人于交门宫”，并在胶州湾畔女姑山祭天拜祖，设立明堂9所。唐、宋、元、明、清各时期，青岛崂山遍布道院、道庵，太清宫成为当时全真派道教第二丛林。清朝末年，青岛已发展成为一个繁华市镇，昔称胶澳。<br> <br> 1891年6月14日(清光绪十七年)，清政府在胶澳设防，是为青岛建制的开始。1897年11月，德国以“巨野教案”为借口强占胶澳。1914年，第一次世界大战爆发，11月，日本侵占胶澳，取代德国对青岛进行军事殖民统治。1919年，中国近代史上著名的五四运动便是以“收回青岛”为起因。1922年12月10日，中国收回胶澳，开为商埠，设立胶澳商埠督办公署，直属北洋政府。1929年7月，设青岛特别市。1930年，改称青岛市。1938年1月，日本再次侵占青岛。1945年9月，国民党政府接收青岛，仍为特别市。1949年6月2日，青岛解放。<br> <br> 青岛自然景观旖旎多姿，人文古迹丰富典雅，是著名的旅游、度假和避暑的胜地。青岛历史文化十分悠久，早在五六千年以前的新石器时代，东夷的原始居民就在青岛地区集群而居了，其文化遗存，仅目前所知就有墨县南阡、北阡等12处大汶口文化遗址和崂山文化遗址。<br> <br> 青岛不仅历史悠久，而且名胜古迹众多。较为著名的有三里河遗址、东岳遗址、琅琊台、田横五百义士墓、崂山、天后宫、北朝石造像、前海栈桥、小青岛、八大关等。<br> <br> 1994年国务院公布青岛为国家历史文化名城，<br> <br> 青岛气候宜人，春秋时节温暖湿润，夏季气温保持在20--28℃左右，凉爽舒适。旅游黄金季节从3月末一直可以持续到11月初，尤其是8月下旬，海水温暖，是海滨旅游的黄金季节。青岛的冬天寒风刺骨，海水虽不结冰，但已冷至零度，如果您有强健的体魄和足够的勇气，可以去尝试一下冬泳。 <br><br></td></tr> </table> </td> <td width=29 valign=top><img
