Given that [[:Category:Azerbaijani authors]] and [[:Category:Persian authors]] are subsets of [[:Category:Authors by nationality]], and he was never part of an Azerbaijani nation, [[:Category:Persian authors]] is more relevant. More importantly in some ways, I simply reverted your first edit because it had no edit summary and simply (and ungrammatically) changed Persian to Azerbaijani instead of actually expanding the text to approach the issue of who he was, in a massively different cultural and political environment.
