The password and username are created and provided by PV CYCLE and are regularly updated. Purpose of the Site</strong> </h4> <p><br/>The Site serves as a communication tool with the following objectives : </p> <ul> <li>To promote PV CYCLE’s services, particularly the take-back and recycling of used photovoltaic modules in EU and EFTA countries; </li> <li>To provide information about PV CYCLE and its services to members, recycling partners, producers, and end customers; </li> <li>To offer the possibility to subscribe to PV CYCLE’s newsletter;</li> <li>To allow Users to apply to become a member or partner of PV CYCLE and manage their WEEE compliance. </li> </ul> <p> <br/> </p> <h4> <strong>3. Applicability and Binding Nature</strong> </h4> <p>These Terms of Use apply to all uses of the Site, whether for viewing its content, registering, or subscribing to PV CYCLE’s newsletter.The User confirms they have read these Terms of Use and accepts their binding nature. </p> <p> <br/> </p> <h4> <strong>4. Registration on the Site</strong> </h4> <p><br/>If the User wishes to apply to become a member or partner of PV CYCLE, they must fill out the Registration Form available on the Site with their personal information. The form must be completed accurately and in full.<br/>Users are not allowed to use someone else’s identity, proxies, or temporary email addresses.<br/>During registration, the User must accept these Terms of Use as well as the Privacy and Cookies Policy by checking the appropriate box.<br/>After completing the Registration Form, Users will receive a Service Agreement (sent by email) that they must sign and return to PV CYCLE.<br/>Upon receipt of payment for administrative fees, membership fees, and other legally required WEEE contributions, Users will receive the PV CYCLE certificate, valid for one full year of membership, as well as access to the Private Area for members and partners, and User Accounts, where applicable. </p> <p>Members and collection points who have registered for an Account on pvcycle.org will receive a confirmation email after completing the Registration Form.<br/>PV CYCLE reserves the right to accept or refuse Registration. Registration may be refused for the following reasons: </p> <ul> <li>PV CYCLE reserves the right to accept or refuse Registration. Registration may be refused for the following reasons: The User does not provide the requested identification information or provides incomplete or incorrect information; </li> <li>The User attempts to register multiple times under different aliases;</li> <li>The User uses someone else’s identity;</li> <li>The User does not comply with these Terms of Use, has failed to comply with them in the past, or PV CYCLE reasonably believes they will fail to comply in the future; </li> <li>Any other reason PV CYCLE reasonably deems sufficient to refuse Registration.</li> </ul> <p> <br/> </p> <h4> <strong>5. Access to the Site and an Account</strong> </h4> <p><br/>Membership with PV CYCLE is not free. Membership fees, contributions, and any other legally required WEEE contributions are due as specified on the Registration Form. Partnership registration is free. </p> <p>Partnership registration is free.</p> <p>The information available on the Site is freely accessible to Users.</p> <p>At its sole discretion, PV CYCLE reserves the right to warn Users, temporarily or permanently deny access to their Account, or temporarily or permanently block access to the Site by means of an IP address block. </p> <p>Access may be denied for reasons including, but not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>The User registered incompletely or incorrectly, or filled out the Registration Form incompletely or incorrectly; </li> <li>The User shared their identification data with a third party;</li> <li>The User uses the identification data of a third party;</li> <li>The User attempts to use their Account to cause harm of any kind or for improper purposes;</li> <li>The User does not comply with these Terms of Use, has failed to comply in the past, or PV CYCLE reasonably believes they will fail to comply in the future; </li> <li>Any other reason PV CYCLE reasonably deems sufficient to deny access.</li> </ul> <p>PV CYCLE reserves the right to unilaterally, immediately, permanently, and without notice close an Account or deny access to the Site for any User who does not comply with these Terms of Use. </p> <p> <br/> </p> <h4> <strong>6. Limitation of Liability</strong> </h4> <p><br/>PV CYCLE pays great attention to the content of the Site. However, this content is subject to change, may be removed at any time, and is made available to the User without any explicit or implied guarantee of accuracy.
