Further confusions are produced by some attempts to generalize entropy with similar but not the same concepts in other disciplines. This paper proposes to explain the physical meaning of thermodynamic entropy, and, its connection to Boltzmann’s entropy. The inclusion of Boltzmann’s constant in his definition of entropy establishes the connection. The physical basis of Boltzmann’s constant and his entropy are explained.
