General Hospital & Trauma Center</p> </div> </div> <p>The UCSF Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences聽at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center is dedicated to providing culturally competent services to the diverse patient population we serve. Providing a range of clinical services informed by evidence-based practices, we provide聽care to thousands of patients each year. The department is divided into six聽subdivisions; the Divisions of:</p> <ul> <li><a href="/zsfg/aes">Acute and Emergency Services</a>聽-聽includes San Francisco鈥檚 only 24/7 dedicated psychiatric emergency room; 44 inpatient psychiatry beds and consultation/liaison services to hospitalized medical and surgical patients</li> <li><a href="/zsfg/ahp">Alliance Health Project</a>聽- dedicated to providing HIV prevention services,聽mental health, and substance abuse services to the city鈥檚 LGBTQ and HIV-affected communities</li> <li><a href="/zsfg/citywide">Citywide Case Management Services</a>聽-聽provides assertive case management services to nearly 1,000 of the most seriously mental ill patients in the city, as well as the city鈥檚 forensic mental health patients</li> <li><a href="/zsfg/icap">Infant, Child and, Adolescent Psychiatry</a>聽-聽provides a range of mental health care to children from birth to 24 years of age</li> <li><a href="/zsfg/saam">Substance Abuse and Addiction Medicine</a>聽- provides opiate replacement therapies and other services to more than 800 people each day, both on-site and in the community via mobile methadone vans</li> <li><a href="/zsfg/trc">Trauma Recovery Services</a> - includes聽the Child and Adolescent Support Advocacy and Resource Center (CASARC), Trauma Recovery Center (TRC), Rape Treatment Center (RTC), Survivors
