However <a href="/wiki/Timothy_Barnes_(classicist)" title="Timothy Barnes (classicist)">Timothy Barnes</a> and others consider this decision to only allow various Romans to divorce and then remarry. The controversy being that <a href="/wiki/Christianity" title="Christianity">Christianity</a> had yet to accept the concept of a divorce.
