Eligibility, and Services Offered</h3> ISC Networking and Telecommunications runs a general timesharing service offered to faculty and staff of central offices and to students of the following schools School Of Medicine</a> </li> </ul> <p> Other schools in the University have different <a href="email.html">administrative procedures</a> for acquiring an account. </p> <p> If your department or school is interested in acquiring email services on the ISC Networking and Telecommunications server, please contact <a schools can <b>create</b> their own <b>account</b> on our server and any user with an existing account can perform certain account management functions like changing the password for that account, setting a vacation message, setting a forwarding address and querying for current disk usage by using an authenticated <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20080610080959/https://rosetta.upenn.edu/cgi-bin/websec/websec_authform?app=acctsrvcs">web application</a>. However, they typically offer an uglier interface, slower performance, and less functionality than other interfaces, so they are generally only used as a backup when travelling. In addition to reading your mail, certain account management tools like changing your password, setting vacation messages, setting a forwarding address and querying for current disk usage are also available through this web interface. <dt>Handheld devices <dd>BlackBerry, PalmOS and Windows Mobile 5/6 can do email synchronization with Pobox for an additional <a href="/web/20080610080959/http://www.upenn.edu/computing/isc/networking/rates/data/email.html">fee</a>.
