Or looking for the BIC Standard Subject Categories and Qualifiers scheme?</strong></p> <p>As of the end of February 2024, the BIC subject categories scheme is now obsolete. The recommended replacement is <a href="https://ns.editeur.org/thema"><i>Thema</i></a>. Ensure you and your supply chain partners do not rely on BIC subject codes in any part of your business.</p> <p>As an organisation, BIC has strongly supported <i>Thema</i> since its inception in 2013. In 2017, it announced that there would be no further development of the BIC subject category scheme, and that <a href="https://ns.editeur.org/thema"><i>Thema</i></a> is the preferred subject scheme for current and future use.
