And they were filled with wonder and amazement at that having happened to him. </p><p class="hdg">Peter Speaks in Solomon's Colonnade</p><p class="reg"><span class="reftext"><a href="/acts/3-11.htm"><b>11</b></a></span>Now as he is clinging to Peter and John, all the people ran together to them in the porch called Solomon’s, greatly amazed. <span class="reftext"><a href="/acts/3-12.htm"><b>12</b></a></span>But having seen <i>it</i>, Peter answered to the people: “Men of Israel, why do you wonder at this? Or why do you look intently on us as if by <i>our</i> own power or godliness <i>we</i> have made him to walk? </p><p class="reg"><span class="reftext"><a href="/acts/3-13.htm"><b>13</b></a></span>The God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified His servant<span class="fn"><a href="#fnb" title="Or ‘child’; also in verse 26">b</a></span> Jesus, whom indeed you betrayed and disowned in <i>the</i> presence of Pilate, that one having adjudged to release <i>Him</i>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/acts/3-14.htm"><b>14</b></a></span>But you denied the Holy and Righteous One and requested a murderer to be granted to you. <span class="reftext"><a href="/acts/3-15.htm"><b>15</b></a></span>And you killed the Author of life, whom God has raised up out from <i>the</i> dead, whereof we are witnesses. </p><p class="reg"><span class="reftext"><a href="/acts/3-16.htm"><b>16</b></a></span>And on the faith in His name, this <i>man</i> whom you see and know, His name has strengthened; and the faith which <i>is</i> through Him has given to him this complete soundness before all of you. </p><p class="reg"><span class="reftext"><a href="/acts/3-17.htm"><b>17</b></a></span>And now, brothers, I know that you acted in ignorance, as <i>did</i> your rulers also. <span class="reftext"><a href="/acts/3-18.htm"><b>18</b></a></span>But what God foretold by <i>the</i> mouth of all the prophets, <i>that</i> His Christ should suffer, He has thus fulfilled. <span class="reftext"><a href="/acts/3-19.htm"><b>19</b></a></span>Repent, therefore, and turn again, for the blotting out of your sins, <span class="reftext"><a href="/acts/3-20.htm"><b>20</b></a></span>so that times of refreshing may come from <i>the</i> presence of the Lord, and <i>that</i> He may send the <i>One</i> having been appointed to you, Christ Jesus, <span class="reftext"><a href="/acts/3-21.htm"><b>21</b></a></span>whom indeed it behooves heaven to receive until <i>the</i> times of restoration of all things, of which God spoke by <i>the</i> mouth of His holy prophets from <i>the</i> age. </p><p class="reg"><span class="reftext"><a href="/acts/3-22.htm"><b>22</b></a></span>For Moses said, ‘The Lord your God will raise up to you a prophet like me out from your brothers.
