de comprimare a fișierelor pe care o poți utiliza pentru a obține rate de compresie foarte mari cu aproape orice tip de fișier. Spre deosebire de alte programe similare, nu trebuie să te înregistrezi sau să cumperi aplicația 7-Zip pentru a o folosi. Odată ce o instalați pe computer, o puteți folosi în scop personal, dar și profesional, fără restricții de nici un fel.</p><p>Odată ce ai instalat aplicația 7-Zip, o poți folosi direct din meniul contextual făcând clic dreapta pe orice fișier, indiferent dacă acesta este comprimat sau nu. Dacă faci clic dreapta pe un fișier comprimat într-un format acceptat (7z, ZIP, CAB, RAR, ARJ, GZIP, BZIP2, TAR, CPIO, RPM sau DEB), vei vedea o serie de opțiuni, cum ar fi decomprimarea directă în directorul în care se află fișierul sau decomprimarea într-un alt director. Desigur, primul lucru pe care trebuie să-l faci este să alegi un nume pentru fișierul comprimat pe care dorești să-l creezi; după aceea, poți alege formatul rezultat dorit, nivelul de compresie, tipul de compresie și multe altele.
