2014/15年度大幅增加90.17%。社会福利、医疗卫生和教育是开支的大头,其中医疗卫生开支十年来增至1,279 亿港币,升幅126%;社会福利开支增至 1,362亿港币,增幅120%;教育开支增至1,157亿港币,升幅53%。如此持续上升的日常开支,让港府财政压力日益加重。储蓄波动香港财政储备在2019年1月达到12,110 亿港币的历史高位,该财年结余11,709 撤辣后内地买家在香港入市的数量和金额都有大幅增长。据美联物业研究中心综合土地注册处资料,按已知买家姓名作分析,以去年3月至今年1月共11个月来看,内地买家 (以买家姓名的英文拼音鉴别) 于香港楼市一二手住宅注册量共达11,926套,与撤辣前11个月的5,189套大幅急升约1.3倍。金额方面,撤辣后11个月内地买家入市共涉及约1,291亿港币,也增长超过1倍。如果按照占个人买家的比例来看,近11个月内地买家注册量占比约23.7%,比起前11个月约14.7%增加了约9%;金额更是由约23.3%升至约34.4%,增加了11.1%,由此可见内地买家的入市积极性高涨。
