According to Coulter, forces of godless evil are subtly working behind the scenes in religion, government, education, and economics. Secular-liberal, New Age-satanic forces are fast at work corrupting the fundamental truths of the Bible and destroying godly morality. Prominent atheists—especially in America and the United Kingdom—have mounted bitter assaults against God and the Bible. Even the Scriptures themselves are no longer held as sacred, but have been thoroughly violated in the rush to produce so-called “modern” gender-neutral translations. In fact, Christianity itself is in “moral retreat”—the result of widespread doctrinal confusion and a growing willingness to compromise biblical principle with popular culture.</p> <p class="indent">It is against this backdrop that Coulter has worked as minister, author, and publisher to produce over a dozen full-length books, an abundance of booklets and papers, 1600 audio sermons, 500 videos of Sabbath-service sermons, 400 half-hour video segments for “Church at Home” covering basic Bible topics and questions, and 62 in-depth sermon transcript compilations—all designed to safeguard the <em>true doctrines</em> of Jesus Christ, as well as the Scriptures themselves.</p> <h6>Ministerial Career</h6> <p class="indent">Ordained a minister of Jesus Christ in 1965, Coulter has pastored numerous Sabbath-keeping churches of God in the Pacific Northwest, the Mountain States, the greater Los Angeles area and Monterey, including the central coast area of California. Since 1983 Coulter has served as <em>president</em> and <em>pastor</em> of the Christian Biblical Church of God (CBCG), headquartered in Hollister, California. Coulter’s ministry reaches all parts of the United States with additional offices in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, South Africa, the Netherlands, and Malaysia.</p> <h6>Web Sites</h6> <p class="indent">A key component of Coulter’s ministry is his extensive Internet presence. Each year, almost <em>three million</em> people from around the world actively utilize Coulter’s Web sites—where they find timely, inspiring materials covering virtually every topic in Scripture.</p> <p class="indent">His primary Web site, <strong><em>truthofgod.org</em></strong>, is designed to proclaim the Gospel of the Kingdom of God and preserve biblical truth. Over 1600 audio sermons and Bible studies are available for download, including hundreds of video sermons, sermon transcripts, and biblical articles. A second Web site is dedicated to promoting Coulter’s new Bible—<strong><em>theoriginalbiblerestored.org</em></strong>. His latest site, growing rapidly in popularity, is designed for Christians looking for alternatives to the one-size-fits-all “corporate” church experience—<strong><em>churchathome.org</em></strong>. “Church at Home” features over 400 downloadable half-hour video presentations and a variety of other materials for personal and family in-home Bible study.</p> <h6>Publishing</h6> <p class="indent">Key full-length publications include <em>Occult Holidays or God’s Holy Days—Which?</em>, now in its third edition. A much-needed resource for Bible students, this book contrasts the pagan holidays of nominal “Christianity” with the God-ordained holy days of the Bible.</p> <p class="indent">Coulter’s latest book, <em>From a Speck of Dust to a Son of God—Why Were You Born?</em>, published in 2016, reveals mankind’s ultimate destiny—a destiny far greater than even today’s “Christian” has dared to imagine.</p> <p class="indent">Other major works include<em> The Day Jesus the Christ Died</em>—which gives the <em>full story</em> of Jesus’ death and resurrection; <em>The Appointed Times of Jesus the Messiah</em>—which outlines the birth, life and work of Christ; and <em>Lord, What Should I Do?</em>—a one-of-a-kind guide to surviving today’s “dysfunctional Christianity.”</p> <p class="indent">In July of 2008, Coulter’s work reached a personal milestone with the first printing of <em>The Holy Bible In Its Original Order—A Faithful Version With Commentary</em>.</p> <p class="indent">This extraordinary Bible is unique in that it is the <em>only</em> <em>complete</em> Bible ever published—with Old and New Testaments—that follows the <em>original</em>, canonical (can non it coal) manuscript order as recognized by scholars. As a <em>new</em>, easy-to-read English translation, <em>The Holy Bible In Its Original Order</em> is completely faithful to the original Hebrew and Greek texts. In 2009 Coulter published an updated and expanded Second Edition that includes a new 32-page appendix, “Understanding Paul’s Difficult Scriptures.”</p> <h6>Education</h6> <p class="indent">Coulter attended the University of San Francisco, and in 1960 graduated from San Mateo (Ma tay O) State College (San Mateo Junior College) before graduating from Ambassador University (Ambassador College), Pasadena, California, with a BA in Theology in 1964. From 1972-75 Coulter completed advanced biblical and ministerial studies under the Ambassador University Master’s Program. While completing these studies, he was encouraged by his long-time mentor and professor of <em>Koiné</em> (coin ay) Greek—Charles V. Dorothy, PhD—to consider translating the books of the New Testament. Dorothy, fluent in five languages, was Coulter’s personal tutor in biblical Greek.</p> <h6>Translating the New Testament</h6> <p class="indent">After completing formal instruction in New Testament Greek, Coulter continued to expand his knowledge of Greek for the next 20 years by undertaking a verse-by-verse study of the books of the New Testament using the Byzantine Text. In the course of his study, he was moved to translate the Gospel accounts into clear, easy-to-read English for contemporary readers—resulting in his first published work, <em>A Harmony of the Gospels in Modern English</em> (now in its third edition). Ultimately, Coulter was inspired to translate the entire New Testament. After twelve years of translating, <em>The New Testament In Its Original Order—A Faithful Version With Commentary</em> was completed and published in 2004. (This publication has subsequently been incorporated into <em>The Holy Bible In Its Original Order</em>.)</p> <h6>Translating the Old Testament</h6> <p class="indent">In 2006 Coulter began collaborating with Old Testament Hebrew consultant E. Michael Heiss in the development of the Old Testament portion of <em>The Holy Bible In Its Original Order</em>. This new translation of the Old Testament is based on the Masoretic (maz ah retic) Hebrew text. Together, Coulter and Heiss have meticulously combed through each and every word and phrase in the Hebrew and English to produce a version that is faithful to the original texts. The result is a “fresh, easy-to-read translation that retains the grace and grandeur of the <em>King James Version</em>” (Dr. Will Tomory, Professor of English, Southwest Michigan College).</p> <p class="indent">Coulter’s new translation has been received with enthusiastic acclaim. Reviewer Dan Decker with the <em>International Society of Bible Collectors</em> wrote in 2009 that Coulter’s Bible “is an <em>excellent translation </em>for those desiring a literal one….
