style="font-size:14px"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif">Dr. Sara Tahery completed her PhD degree in Materials Science and Engineering School at the University of University of New South Wales in 2016. Currently, she works as a Research Fellow and a Lecturer in the same school. Her research focuses on the characterization of physical, electro-chemical and microstructural properties of a wide range of biochar products for various applications, including soil amendment, water and air filters, animal feed supplements and as a tool to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from the atmosphere. Sara has led multiple biochar-based projects since 2016.
