10-year-old boy later died, has been given a suspended prison sentence.</b> <p>Retired decorator Roy Allen, 68, from Meole, Shrewsbury admitted failing to stop and report the incident on the A470 at Llanrwst, Conwy, last July. <p>Lee Thompson Walker from Llanrwst died in hospital the day after the crash. <p>Llandudno magistrates gave Allen a six-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months and 120 hours community service. <p>At an earlier hearing in January magistrates heard Allen stopped but then drove home without telling anyone what had happened. <p>Allen was not arrested until September following police inquiries. <p>Lee received head and chest injuries and died in Alder Hey Hospital, Liverpool, the day after the collision with Allen's Land Rover Freelander. <p>The court heard Lee had fallen off his bike when the incident happened near the Central Garage in Llanrwst. <p>The court heard that Allen had stopped 75 metres away, out of sight of the crash scene, and walked back to it as other people tried to help the dying youngster.
