We cannot provide any information about other WLANs (operated by e.g. departments).</p> <p>Wireless LAN service is available at BME. The WLAN infrastructure provides Internet access via IEEE 802.11 capable devices (laptops, cell phones, tablets, etc.) for staff and students of our university, as well as for eduroam users.</p> <div class="cFloatImg"><img src="eduroam_200pix.png"></div> <p>BME is a member of the <a href="http://www.eduroam.org/">eduroam</a> federation. eduroam lets users connect to the Internet securely and comfortably in every eduroam member institution world-wide. Using eduroam guest users arriving from other eduroam institutions can connect to the Internet at BME, in addition to our own students and staff, while BME users can connect to the network in other eduroam institutions.</p> <div class="cNoticeBox"><strong>BME's eduroam</strong> infrastructure operates, however it <strong>is under construction</strong>.
