The nonlinearity of systems can be written in a fractional form. The first adaptive observer is an adaptive sliding mode observer for a Lipchitz nonlinear system and the second one is an adaptive sliding mode observer having a filtered error as a sliding surface. After comparing their performances throughout the inverted pendulum mounted on a car system, it was shown that the second one is more robust to estimate the state. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Adaptive%20observer" title="Adaptive observer">Adaptive observer</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Lipchitz%20system" title=" Lipchitz system"> Lipchitz system</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Interconnected%20fractional%20nonlinear%20system" title=" Interconnected fractional nonlinear system"> Interconnected fractional nonlinear system</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=sliding%20mode." title=" sliding mode."> sliding mode.</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/9018/adaptive-sliding-mode-observer-for-a-class-of-systems" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/9018/apa" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">APA</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/9018/bibtex" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">BibTeX</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/9018/chicago" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Chicago</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/9018/endnote" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">EndNote</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/9018/harvard" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Harvard</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/9018/json" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">JSON</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/9018/mla" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">MLA</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/9018/ris" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">RIS</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/9018/xml" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">XML</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/9018/iso690" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">ISO 690</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/9018.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">1661</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card publication-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">8829</span> Information Modelling for Adaptive Composition in Collaborative Work Environment</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Sang%20Keun%20Rhee">Sang Keun Rhee</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Hyojeong%20Jin"> Hyojeong Jin</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Jihye%20Lee"> Jihye Lee</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Misoo%20Kwon"> Misoo Kwon</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Myon-Woong%20Park"> Myon-Woong Park</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Sungdo%20Ha"> Sungdo Ha</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Extensive information is required within a R&D environment, and a considerable amount of time and efforts are being spent on finding the necessary information. This technique is based on the fundamental characteristic of adaptation of living organism. The adaptive control process is one that continuously and automatically measures the dynamic behavior of plant, compares it with the desired output and uses the difference to vary adjustable system parameters or to generate an actuating signal in such a way so that optimal performance can be maintained regardless of system changes. This paper deals with application of model reference adaptive control scheme in first order system. The rule which is used for this application is MIT rule. This paper also shows the effect of adaptation gain on the system performance. Simulation is done in MATLAB and results are discussed in detail. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Adaptive%20control%20system" title="Adaptive control system">Adaptive control system</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Adaptation%20gain" title=" Adaptation gain"> Adaptation gain</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=MIT%20rule" title=" MIT rule"> MIT rule</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Model%20reference%20adaptive%20control." title="Model reference adaptive control.">Model reference adaptive control.</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/9815/effect-of-adaptation-gain-on-system-performance-for-model-reference-adaptive-control-scheme-using-mit-rule" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/9815/apa" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">APA</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/9815/bibtex" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">BibTeX</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/9815/chicago" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Chicago</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/9815/endnote" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">EndNote</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/9815/harvard" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Harvard</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/9815/json" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">JSON</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/9815/mla" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">MLA</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/9815/ris" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">RIS</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/9815/xml" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">XML</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/9815/iso690" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">ISO 690</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/9815.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">2225</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card publication-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">8827</span> A Type-2 Fuzzy Adaptive Controller of a Class of Nonlinear System</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=A.%20El%20Ougli">A. Furthermore, variations in the reference model parameters, that is changing the desired closed-loop behaviour are examinded. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Adaptive%20control%20systems" title="Adaptive control systems">Adaptive control systems</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Adaptation%20gain" title=" Adaptation gain"> Adaptation gain</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=MIT%20rule" title=" MIT rule"> MIT rule</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Lyapunov%20rule" title=" Lyapunov rule"> Lyapunov rule</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Model%20reference%20adaptive%20control." title=" Model reference adaptive control."> Model reference adaptive control.</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/1037/influence-of-adaptation-gain-and-reference-model-parameters-on-system-performance-for-model-reference-adaptive-control" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/1037/apa" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">APA</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/1037/bibtex" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">BibTeX</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/1037/chicago" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Chicago</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/1037/endnote" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">EndNote</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/1037/harvard" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Harvard</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/1037/json" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">JSON</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/1037/mla" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">MLA</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/1037/ris" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">RIS</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/1037/xml" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">XML</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/1037/iso690" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">ISO 690</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/1037.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">2228</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card publication-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">8824</span> Stereotype Student Model for an Adaptive e-Learning System</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Ani%20Grubi%C5%A1i%C4%87">Ani Grubi拧i膰</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Slavomir%20Stankov"> Slavomir Stankov</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Branko%20%C5%BDitko"> Branko 沤itko</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> This paper describes a concept of stereotype student model in adaptive knowledge acquisition e-learning system. The simulations are evaluated for three types of road conditions (dry, wet, and icy), and the performance of the adaptive pole placement control (APPC) are compared with pole placement control (PPC) and a passive system. For this reason Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) and adaptive antenna array are used is required. The goal of the OFDM is to improve the system performance against Inter-Symbol Interference (ISI). An array of adaptive antennas has been employed to suppress CCI by spatial technique. To suppress CCI in OFDM systems two main schemes the pre-FFT and the post-FFT have been proposed. In this paper, through a system level simulation, the behavior of the pre-FFT and post-FFT beamformers for OFDM system has been investigated based on two algorithms namely, Least Mean Squares (LMS) and Recursive Least Squares (RLS). The performance of the system is also discussed in multipath fading channel system specified by 3GPP Long Term Evolution (LTE).</p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=OFDM" title="OFDM">OFDM</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Beamforming" title=" Beamforming"> Beamforming</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Adaptive%20Antennas%20Array." title=" Adaptive Antennas Array."> Adaptive Antennas Array.</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/9996911/performance-analysis-of-adaptive-ofdm-pre-and-post-ftt-beamforming-system" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/9996911/apa" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">APA</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/9996911/bibtex" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">BibTeX</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/9996911/chicago" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Chicago</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/9996911/endnote" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">EndNote</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/9996911/harvard" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Harvard</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/9996911/json" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">JSON</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/9996911/mla" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">MLA</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/9996911/ris" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">RIS</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/9996911/xml" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">XML</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/9996911/iso690" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">ISO 690</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/9996911.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">2440</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card publication-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">8817</span> SystemC Modeling of Adaptive Least Mean Square Filter</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Kyu%20Han%20Kim">Kyu Han Kim</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Soon%20Kyu%20Kwon"> Soon Kyu Kwon</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Heung%20Sun%20Yoon"> Heung Sun Yoon</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Jong%20Tae%20Kim"> Jong Tae Kim</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> In this paper, we demonstrate the adaptive least-mean-square (LMS) filter modeling using SystemC. SVD method has been employed in MIMO-OFDM system in order to overcome subchannel interference. Chaw-s and Compello-s algorithms have been implemented to obtain a bit and power allocation for each subcarrier assuming instantaneous channel knowledge. The adaptive loaded SVD-STBC scheme is capable of providing both full-rate and full-diversity for any number of transmit antennas. The effectiveness of these techniques has demonstrated through the simulation of an Adaptive loaded SVDSTBC system, and the comparison shown that the proposed algorithms ensure better performance in the case of MIMO. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=OFDM" title="OFDM">OFDM</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=MIMO" title=" MIMO"> MIMO</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=SVD" title=" SVD"> SVD</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=STBC" title=" STBC"> STBC</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Adaptive%20Loading." title=" Adaptive Loading."> Adaptive Loading.</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/11525/space-time-processing-with-adaptive-stbc-ofdm-systems" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/11525/apa" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">APA</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/11525/bibtex" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">BibTeX</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/11525/chicago" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Chicago</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/11525/endnote" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">EndNote</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/11525/harvard" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Harvard</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/11525/json" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">JSON</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/11525/mla" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">MLA</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/11525/ris" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">RIS</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/11525/xml" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">XML</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/11525/iso690" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">ISO 690</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/11525.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">1970</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card publication-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">8813</span> Adaptive Subchannel Allocation for MC-CDMA System</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Cuiran%20Li">Cuiran Li</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Jianli%20Xie"> Jianli Xie</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Chengshu%20Li"> Chengshu Li</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Multicarrier code-division multiple-access is one of the effective techniques to gain its multiple access capability, robustness against fading, and to mitigate the ISI. The results present that all parameters have performance trends in each own particular form, which can be estimated from equations drawn by regression analysis.</p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=System%20level%20model" title="System level model">System level model</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=adaptive%20LMS%20FIR%20filter" title=" adaptive LMS FIR filter"> adaptive LMS FIR filter</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=regression%20analysis" title=" regression analysis"> regression analysis</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=systemC." title=" systemC."> systemC.</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/13321/performance-analysis-of-adaptive-lms-filter-through-regression-analysis-using-systemc" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/13321/apa" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">APA</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/13321/bibtex" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">BibTeX</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/13321/chicago" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Chicago</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/13321/endnote" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">EndNote</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/13321/harvard" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Harvard</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/13321/json" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">JSON</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/13321/mla" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">MLA</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/13321/ris" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">RIS</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/13321/xml" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">XML</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/13321/iso690" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">ISO 690</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/13321.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">2800</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card publication-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">8810</span> Application of Model Free Adaptive Control in Main Steam Temperature System of Thermal Power Plant</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Khaing%20Yadana%20Swe">Khaing Yadana Swe</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Lillie%20Dewan"> Lillie Dewan</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> <p>At present, the cascade PID control is widely used to control the superheating temperature (main steam temperature). Four reservoirs with their own hydro plants and another one thermal plant are integrated to be a studied system used to formulate the objective function under complicated constraints, eg water managements, power balance and thermal generator limits. MATS with four subsearch units (ATSs) and two stages of discarding mechanism (DM), has been setting and trying to solve the problem through 25 trials under function evaluation criterion. It is shown that MATS can provide superior results with respect to single ATS and other previous methods, genetic algorithms (GA) and differential evolution (DE). <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Hydro-thermal%20scheduling%20problem" title="Hydro-thermal scheduling problem">Hydro-thermal scheduling problem</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=economic%0Adispatch" title=" economic dispatch"> economic dispatch</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=adaptive%20tabu%20search" title=" adaptive tabu search"> adaptive tabu search</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=multipath%20adaptive%20tabu%20search" title=" multipath adaptive tabu search"> multipath adaptive tabu search</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/2044/economical-operation-of-hydro-thermal-power-system-based-on-multi-path-adaptive-tabu-search" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/2044/apa" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">APA</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/2044/bibtex" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">BibTeX</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/2044/chicago" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Chicago</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/2044/endnote" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">EndNote</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/2044/harvard" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Harvard</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/2044/json" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">JSON</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/2044/mla" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">MLA</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/2044/ris" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">RIS</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/2044/xml" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">XML</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/2044/iso690" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">ISO 690</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/2044.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">1694</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card publication-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">8806</span> An Artificial Immune System for a Multi Agent Robotics System</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Chingtham%20Tejbanta%20Singh">Chingtham Tejbanta Singh</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Shivashankar%20B.%20Nair"> Shivashankar B. The stability and convergence of the robotic manipulator control system are guaranteed by applying the Lyapunov theorem. Given an interaction context (i.e. combination of user, environment and system resources) as well as the complexity of the expression itself and the user-s preferences, the suitability scores of different presentation format are calculated. Unlike the current state-of-the art solutions, our approach takes into account the user-s situation and not imposes a solution that is not suitable to his context and capacity. In this wok, we present our methodology for calculating the mathematical expression complexity and the results of our experiment. Finally, this paper discusses the concepts and principles applied on our system as well as their validation through cases studies. A Fuzzy logic system is used to evaluate the learner&#39;s knowledge level for each concept in the domain, and produce a ranked concept list of learning materials to address weaknesses in the learner&rsquo;s understanding. This system obtains information on the learner&#39;s understanding of concepts by an initial pre-test before the system is used for learning and a post-test after using the learning system. A Fuzzy logic system is used to produce a weighted concept map during the learning process. The aim of this research is to prove that such a proposed novel adapted e-learning system will enhance learner&#39;s performance and understanding.
