will look at the principle <em>quod est superius est sicut quod inferius, et quod inferius est sicut quod est superius</em>, meaning “that which is above is like to that which is below, and that which is below is like to that which is above”, often shortened to “as above, so below”. It will also examine a gesture used by occultists which embodies the principle.</p> <p class="has-medium-font-size">In his work, <em>The Mystery of Iniquity, </em>Pierre Virion states that the “as above, so below” principle is a false analogy which is at heart anti-Christic: “Illuminism and the theogony (stories of the gods) of the sects thus lead to an <strong>inversion of the data of revelation</strong> and consequently of Catholic theology.”</p> <p class="has-medium-font-size">Thus transformation or regeneration is evil when it relies on occult means rather than on the graces flowing from Christ’s Redemption. In Hermeticism, the “as above, so below” represents the macrocosm (the universe) reflecting the microcosm (the individual). The Kabbalah applies a similar meaning, using the dualistic principle of the <em>Macroprosopus</em><strong> </strong>and the<strong> </strong><em>Microprosopus</em> (the great world and the small world). In Alchemy, this duality represents transformation, both of base metal into a precious metal and of man through spiritual enlightenment.</p> <p class="has-medium-font-size">The characteristics of the god Baphomet with his up-down” gesture are <a href="https://whowhatwhere.substack.com/p/hand-signals-of-baphomet-and-baal">said</a> to be shared by the god, Baal. Baal is known as the demon responsible for promoting abortions.</p> <p class="has-text-align-left has-medium-font-size">This link is an interesting one given the video compilation shown in the Tweet below. In it, one finds the ultra-pro-abort Kamala Harris repeating variations of a specific phrase, accompanied by the “as above, so below” hand gesture. It <a href="https://esotericfreemasons.com/freemasonry/as-above-so-below-masonic-in-freemasonry/">refers </a>to the presence of the Divine in both the spiritual and physical worlds and emphasises their interconnectedness. Masonry also includes the explicitly Hermetic idea that the spiritual realm is reflected in the physical realm and vice versa. Another application of the principle is found in the Masonic obligation of each human being to maintain balance and harmony, especially as expressed through Masonry’s tolerance of various creeds. </p> new to this website from the well-known Italian journalist, Andrea Cionci. Cionci wrote it a couple of years ago – the entire article can be <a href="https://www.romait.it/le-foto-censurate-della-sciogli-nodi-di-bergoglio-lanticristianesimo-del-presunto-papa-francesco.html">read here</a>. As readers of this site are aware, I am not wont to call Francis an anti-Pope or usurper: in my opinion he can inflict similar damage on the Church whether legitimately elected as Pope, or illegitimately. Cionci makes no secret of his opinion and has written an entire book on the subject – but that is not the theme of the present article.</em></p> <p>Andrea Cionci has apparently held reservations about the devotion to Our Lady, Undoer of Knots for some time. He claims that it is based on an spell, known variously as the Witch’s Knot, Magic of the Nine Knots, or Magic Ladder. Cionci also says that it was Bergoglio who began to spread this devotion in the ’80’s. I can’t speak to that, but agree that the image shown here is quite bizarre.</p> <p>The image, which is not a painting but a bas-relief, was presented to Pope Francis by the President of Argentina, Christina Fernandez de Kirchner, in 2015. Closeups of the image came from <a href="https://www.larepublica.ec/blog/2015/06/07/el-papa-francisco-recibe-a-la-presidenta-argentina/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">here</a> and show some disturbing details.</p> <figure class="wp-block-image"><img src="https://www.romait.it/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Maria-spalle-nude-1-2.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-61400" /></figure> <p>For example, “Mary” is depicted with a bare shoulder: something never seen in images of the Most Holy Mother of God, who is the epitome of modesty. She is surrounded by five-pointed stars rather than the traditional six-pointed ones. The angel offends against decency & metaphysics: although angels are pure spirits and therefore without gender, this one is shown with bare breasts. </p> <figure class="wp-block-image"><img src="https://www.romait.it/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/seno-1.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-61399" /></figure> <p>Cionci points out that the foot of “Mary” does not crush the serpent’s head, but is at best, not touching it, and at worse, caressing it. And as seen in the main photograph, the snake itself is tied in a knot.</p> <p>According to Cionci, the snake-loving, anti-Mary figure resembles the occult figure, Lilith – these days a feminist icon of sexual domination and originally known in Jewish mysticism as the first wife of Adam. Lilith is often linked with the moon and is also associated with snakes. She is said to be responsible for inflicting illness or death on newborn babies. She is also associated with adultery and lust, showing another link with the “Witch’s Knot” which is tied to reproduction and fertility.</p> <p>It is all very strange. And President Kirchner? The last rebrand was only two years ago so it boggles the mind to consider how such an expensive folly can be justified. </p> <p class="has-medium-font-size" style="line-height:1.7">They could at least have come up with something original like “Gene Serum Fanatics” or the “mRNA Club” or more honestly, “Agnostics-R-Us”. (A selling point might be that children graduating from their system will be completely resistant to traditional Catholicism.)</p> <p class="has-medium-font-size" style="line-height:1.7">According to the MACS spokesperson, its mission is “to proclaim the Good News and enlighten the lives” of students. Because Melbourne AD employees just <em>love</em> to talk about light and darkness. Interestingly, yellow and blue, albeit a lighter blue, were <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://ecclesiastical-freemasonry.com/2022/09/13/alarm-bells-over-kazakhstan/" target="_blank">used</a> in the logo for the 7th Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in Kazakhstan.</p> <p class="has-medium-font-size" style="line-height:1.7">As seen above, the explanation of the colour “Golden Light” includes a reference to the light shining through the windows of the Melbourne Cathedral. (Archbishop Comensoli referenced that light in his sermon at Kimberly Kitching’s funeral. He also gave a very “<a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://ecclesiastical-freemasonry.com/2022/01/02/did-comensoli-go-full-illuminati-for-christmas/" target="_blank">illuminating</a>” Christmas speech last year.)</p> <p class="has-medium-font-size" style="line-height:1.7">According to one colour <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.color-meanings.com/masonic-colors-meanings-symbolism/" target="_blank">expert</a>, gold represents the sun, so beloved of pagans and Masons, while blue represents the symbolic “Blue Lodge”, where the first three degrees of Freemasonry: Entered Apprentice, Fellow Craft, and Master Mason. Our expert tells us that “blue means special, sacred, wisdom, or perfection.” He says that when these colours are found together, “… they represent the sky, sun, and stars. Blue and gold also have significance related to gods and deities. In the occult world, the triangle can symbolise the transformation of darkness into light, thus the presence of this geometrical figure seems to confirm the occult meaning behind the logo and “manifesto”. It also represents the “magical” number three, and when pointing up, may represent the sun, which is worshipped by many of those who like to conceal the true meanings of their symbols.</p> </div> </div> <p class="has-medium-font-size" style="line-height:1.7">In addition to the tribute to the number three is the use of the number four. It is possible to see in this logo the four arms of the cross, which separate the light into four sectors, as well as four triangles – or “pathways”, as the logo is meant to represent – along the bottom. come across the logo selected by the Pope for the Vatican’s 2025 <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.vaticannews.va/en/vatican-city/news/2022-06/official-logo-of-jubilee-year-unveiled.html" target="_blank">Jubilee “year of hope”</a>. Like most artwork coming out of Rome these days, there’s nothing remotely Catholic about it, and like many of those <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://ecclesiastical-freemasonry.com/2022/01/19/occult-specialist-brought-in-for-italian-church-design/" target="_blank">ecclesial projects</a> which should be prayerfully and solemnly thought out, the logo was the result of a competition which was open to anyone at all. </p> <div class="wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-13 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex"> <div class="wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow"> <p>Some say it reminds them of Happy Hour at a gay bar, which is perhaps unsurprising as its creator is a gay masseuse. In a basic concept, I left it open to everyone and gave it to the world.</em>” </p> <p><a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://wdtprs.com/2022/06/you-have-seen-the-logo-for-the-2025-jubilee/" target="_blank">Fr Z</a> shared the little gem (at right) on his website. Note the similarity with the logo’s colours? He is someone with an interest in occult symbology and is experienced at ‘seeing through’ what most of us overlook or simply take for granted. He believes that the emblem represents a sinister agenda being played out at the Vatican, one that mocks faithful Catholics by hiding in plain sight:</p> <p><em>The logo is coded numerically and by colours, and the elements and colours are quite common in New Age art.</em></p> <p><em>One of their favourite wiccan/masonic occult codes is what they call “functions of four”, “four cubed” being a prime example.</em> <em>4 coloured heads x 4 coloured bodies x 4 symbol (the pagan equal-armed cross) = 4x4x4 = 4 cubed = 64</em>. </p> <p><em>4 cubed: the number of the goddess, Mother Earth, Satan from Rome Reports.</em> <em>In the video, you can see the architect explaining that the rough stone altar represents ‘giving oneself to the earth.”</em></p> <p>When we see a church like the newly-completed San Giacomo Apostolo in Ferrara, Italy, our second question is usually, “Why?” (Our first question might be along the lines of, “Is this for real??”)</p> <p>Designed by a secular architectural firm who tried to create something that “didn’t look like a church”, the building does have most of the essentials of a church – even though they are rather dark, distorted versions. There is an altar, baptistry, Blessed Sacrament chapel, nave, spartan Stations of the Cross, and multiple crosses, although none appear to hold a <em>corpus</em>.</p> <p>The design is the result of a competition run by the Italian Bishops Conference, who needed a new church for the city of Ferrara. The exterior is meant to echo the finale of the local hot-air-balloon festival, in which the balloons slowly deflate. They are even mentioned in the Bible in connection with the worship of false gods. Of course, this may be simply a turn of phrase, as the poplars surrounding the site were obviously planted long before this church was built. But it is an odd choice of words, seeing as the trees are lining the perimeter, rather than being grouped together, as the word “grove” suggests.</p> <p>Above the altar is an <em>oculus</em>, (Latin for eye; in architectural terms this refers to any eye-shaped feature, such as a hole at the centre of a dome); these are quite often found in churches. This particular one is decidedly creepy, though, surrounded by cold concrete and interwoven timbers, punctuated by the immense, rough cross, and crowning the almost windowless church. The overall effect is less than inviting, and the lack of windows is, well ….. somewhat Masonic.</p> <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img data-attachment-id="1266" on the far wall; the clashing, intersecting crosses found in Paul VI’s Masonic-inspired portrait come to mind – more on that <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://ecclesiastical-freemasonry.com/2021/06/15/revisiting-paul-vis-masonic-portrait/" target="_blank">here.</a></p> <p>The cross that adorns the wall behind the sanctuary is not a Christian one: the radiating arms of the cross are of the same length, suggesting a Rosicrucian cross. Rosicrucianism is an occult movement, linked </p> </div> </div> <p>with Freemasonry and which contains elements of Kaballah, Alchemy, Christian Mysticism and Hermeticism. Jewels surround this cross: these have no apparent Christian reference, but the architect thought they might remind the faithful of angels. At least that’s what she told the media.</p> <p>The jewels, stone crosses and bizarre black statuary are the work of the occult-artist, Enzo Cucchi, who was invited by the architects to collaborate with them. Hardly the kind of man one would want working on a church. Unless, of course, one wanted a church reminiscent of an occult-themed safe-room. </p> <p>The Archbishop of Ferrara, Gian Carlo Perega, is an interesting character. He is by no means a traditionalist, as you would expect after seeing this strange building, but he recently – and post <em>Traditiones Custodes</em> – set up TLM <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://southerncross.cc/two-european-bishops-liberate-catholic-tradition/" target="_blank">personal parish.</a> Perhaps this was to appease, if not to protect, the rather large traditionalist base in his Archdiocese. Perego is, however, better known as a progressive who promotes the <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://international.la-croix.com/news/religion/the-political-wilderness-of-local-catholicism-at-the-time-of-pope-francis/10448" target="_blank">plight of migrants.</a></p> <p>I know the sedevacantists like to have fun with churches like this one: I suppose they see it as a vindication of their position. To me, it is just sad. Sad for the people who worship there and don’t know any better. Sad for the priest who doesn’t understand his vocation. Sad for the bishop who thinks being edgy will make him popular.
