Zwei Jahre später scheiterte sie schon bei einer republikanischen Vorwahl. Der Sprung in die Politik misslang. Sogar Taxi-Apps wie Uber und Lyft schmissen sie raus, nachdem sie dort über muslimische Taxifahrer herzog. Doch seit Elon Musk Twitter übernahm und in X umbenannte, darf Loomer dort wieder ihre Hetze verbreiten. Mehr als 1,3 Millionen Follower danken es ihr.</p> <p class="bodytext paragraph typo-bodytext is-block column pv-0 is-8-tablet mgh-auto-tablet mobile-order-7" pos="6">Nach dem <a href="/Attentat-auf-Donald-Trump/!6025712/" target="_blank" class="link in-text-link">ersten Attentat auf Trump im Juli</a> mutmaßte sie, US-Präsident Joe Biden würde dahinterstecken. Und vor Trumps TV-Duell mit seiner Kontrahentin Kamala Harris schrieb sie auf X: Sollte die Demokratin die Wahl am 5. November gewinnen, werde es im Weißen Haus wohl „nach Curry riechen“, und ihre Reden würden über ein Call Center verbreitet – eine Anspielung auf die indische Herkunft der Kandidatin. Er lobte Loomer als mutigen „Freigeist“, stellte sie bei Kundgebungen heraus und ließ sich ausgerechnet am 11. September zu einer Veranstaltung zum Gedenken an die Terroranschläge von ihr begleiten. Zwar teile er ihre Ansichten nicht, gab er später zu Protokoll. Der TV-Moderator Bill Maher spekulierte am Freitag in seiner Sendung ganz offen darüber. Ihre Karriere startete die gelernte Journalistin bei der rechtsextremen Website InfoWars des Verschwörungs-Entrepeneurs Alex Jones und bei der antimuslimischen Aktivistin Pamela Geller.\n 2020 kandidierte sie in Florida vergeblich für den US-Kongress. Zwei Jahre später scheiterte sie schon bei einer republikanischen Vorwahl. Der Sprung in die Politik misslang. Dafür machte sie weiterhin durch öffentlichkeitswirksame Aktionen auf sich aufmerksam.\n Auf Instagram und Facebook ist Loomer gesperrt. Sogar Taxi-Apps wie Uber und Lyft schmissen sie raus, nachdem sie dort über muslimische Taxifahrer herzog. Doch seit Elon Musk Twitter übernahm und in X umbenannte, darf Loomer dort wieder ihre Hetze verbreiten. Mehr als 1,3 Millionen Follower danken es ihr.\n Nach dem ersten Attentat auf Trump im Juli mutmaßte sie, US-Präsident Joe Biden würde dahinterstecken. Und vor Trumps TV-Duell mit seiner Kontrahentin Kamala Harris schrieb sie auf X: Sollte die Demokratin die Wahl am 5. November gewinnen, werde es im Weißen Haus wohl „nach Curry riechen“, und ihre Reden würden über ein Call Center verbreitet – eine Anspielung auf die indische Herkunft der Kandidatin. Auch das Gerücht, Flüchtlinge aus Haiti würden in der Stadt Springfield (Ohio) heimlich Hunde und Katzen essen, das Trump bei der TV-Debatte vorbrachte, soll er von ihr haben.\n Selbst vielen Rechten zu extrem\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n Das ist selbst vielen rechten Republikanern zu extrem. Die Kongressabgeordnete Marjorie Taylor Greene aus Georgia, selbst selten um rechtsextreme Verschwörungstheorien verlegen, nannte Loomers Kommentare „entsetzlich und extrem rassistisch“. Aus North Carolina meldete sich der Senator Thom Tillis und nannte Loomer „eine verrückte Verschwörungstheoretikerin, die regelmäßig widerlichen Müll von sich gibt, um die Republikaner zu spalten“.\n Auch Trumps Vize-Kandidat JD Vance, dessen Ehefrau indischer Herkunft ist, distanzierte sich von ihr. Sie alle eint die Sorge, dass ihr Einfluss Trumps Chancen auf eine erneute US-Präsidentschaft schmälern könnte.\n Trump selbst gibt sich davon unbeeindruckt. Er lobte Loomer als mutigen „Freigeist“, stellte sie bei Kundgebungen heraus und ließ sich ausgerechnet am 11. September zu einer Veranstaltung zum Gedenken an die Terroranschläge von ihr begleiten. Aber, stellte er sich hinter sie: „linksradikale Marxisten und Faschisten“ würden sie verleumden.\n Diese Nähe zwischen dem 78-jährigen Trump und der 31-jährigen Loomer wiederum gibt Gerüchten Nahrung, die beiden hätten eine Affäre.
