Days of Our Lives wins for <strong>Outstanding Daytime Drama Series</strong>!</p> <p><strong>10:30 p.m. ET: </strong>Kris Jenner (who looked ravishing in person, btw) present the award for <strong>Outstanding Talk Show Host</strong>. The winner is Ricki Lake!</p> <p><strong>10:24 p.m. ET: </strong>Our own Robin Meade present the Emmy for <strong>Outstanding Original Song</strong>. The winner is "Good Afternoon," the theme song for ABC's "Good Afternoon America." The song was originally co-written and recorded by country super group Little Big Town.</p> <p><strong>10:22 p.m. ET: </strong>The award for <strong>Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series</strong> goes to Kristen Alderson of "General Hospital." It's her first nomination AND win! The first-timers are always the most fun to watch. Fun fact: Alderson has been playing Starr Manning for <em>fifteen years</em> and she's still so young!</p> <p><strong>10:18 p.m. ET: </strong>Wow, CBS "Sunday Morning" wins its first Daytime Emmy for "Outstanding Morning Program!" Congrats to them, they shared this category with some heavy hitters and came out on top.</p> <p><strong>10:03 p.m. ET: </strong>BETTY. FREAKING. WHITE! Obviously everyone is on their feet. Even George Lucas! The Great White uses her warm sense of humor to honor the second <strong>Lifetime Achievement Award </strong>recipient of the night. She fondly reminisces about the legendary TV game producer Bob Stewart. Stewart created some of the most popular game shows of all time, including "Password," "The Price is Right," and the "Pyramid" series. He once held the record for the most Daytime Emmy Awards in game show production. Sadly, Stewart passed away in May 2012.</p> <p><strong>10:00 p.m. ET: </strong>All of the <strong>Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series</strong> nominees are totally yummy...but only one can win! Chandler Massey, aka Will Horton on "Days of Our Lives," takes home the golden man. When he won that award last year, he became the first actor ever to receive a Daytime Emmy Award for playing a gay character.</p> <p><strong>9:53 p.m. ET: </strong>George Lucas! George Lucas, everybody! He gets up to accept the Emmy for <strong>Outstanding Special Class Animation Series</strong> for "The Clone Wars." George Lucas is marveling at the fact this is his first Daytime Emmy. We are all marveling at George Lucas.</p> <p><strong>9:52 p.m. ET: </strong>Carrie Fisher talking about dropping acid is <em>really </em>changing our perspective of Princess Leia. Funny woman!</p> <p><strong>9:48 p.m. ET: </strong>Not only does Robin Meade look like a goddess, but she is singing the heck out of the nominations for Outstanding Original Song. Audience members are getting up and dancing to Sheryl Crow's "This Day" from "Katie!" Oh, and she's barefoot, and totally not ashamed! Gotta love quick costume changes.</p> <p><strong>9:43 p.m. ET: </strong>Aw, some tears are flowing for the "Bold and the Beautiful" team, who won for <strong>Outstanding Drama Series Directing Team</strong>.</p> <p><strong>9:39 p.m. ET: </strong>The award for <strong>Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show</strong> goes to "The Ellen Show." They have been nominated for and won Daytime Emmy awards about 1,000,000 times. Just a conservative estimate.</p> <p><strong>9:32 p.m. ET: </strong>Time to cry. Il Volo provides the background music for the In Memoriam montage.
