heads-up to win event number seven, the <strong>Texas PLO Roundup High Roller #2: $5,100 Pot-Limit Omaha</strong> at <strong>Champions Club Texas</strong> for $54,000 in prize money and 54 PGT points.</p> <p>This is Muller's third cash and first PGT title of the season, bringing his total live tournament earnings to more than $200,000 according to <a href="https://pokerdb.thehendonmob.com/player.php?a=r&n=993375">The Hendon Mob</a>. </p> <p>The 20 player field generated a prize pool worth $100,000 and the top three players took home at least $16,000. The turbo structure drove the action and soon enough the field was whittled down to a seven-handed final table that included Jim Collopy, Anthony Hu, Ky Nguyen, Phu Vo, and Ravee Sundara.</p> <p>Event number six winner, Adam Hendrix, along with PGT regular, Sean Troah, weren't able to go the distance this time around, but they'll have one more crack at it in the final high roller event on Sunday. </p> <p>Collopy led the way but fell to the near bottom of the chip counts early on when his run-down hand couldn't crack Nguyen's pocket aces, giving Nguyen the full double and the chip lead. Collopy would then find his exit in sixth place after moving his remaining chips all-in from the big blind and having his pocket kings cracked by Nguyen's pocket jacks.</p> <p>Sundara and Vo were eliminated in seventh and fifth place, respectively, and Hu would exit on the bubble after Nguyen made a straight flush against Hu's pair and straight draw. </p> <p>Nguyen held a commanding lead over Morris and Muller at the start of three-handed play but lost big pots to both players early on and then, down to his last ten big blinds, moved all-in over the pot-sized flop bet of Muller with a pair and a flush draw to find himself in good shape against the smaller flush draw of Muller. However, Muller would find his straight outs to eliminate Nguyen in third place. This is Nguyen's second cash of the PGT season.</p> <p>Muller started heads-up with nearly a five-to-one chip lead over Morris, but Morris would drag a few pots early on and then was able to double when his flopped set of kings turned into a rivered straight against the two pair of Muller. However, the tournament came to an end a few hands later after Morris raised the pot from the big blind against the button limp of Muller. The two players ended up all-in and Morris' open-ended straight draw couldn't improve against the top pair of Muller. </p> <p>At the season's end, the top 40 eligible players on the PGT leaderboard will qualify for the PGT Championship. The<a href="https://www.pgt.com/press-releases/pgt-championship-1000000-freeroll-returns-for-2024-season"> 2024 PGT Championship will be a $1,000,000 freeroll</a> with a $500,000 first-place. The turbo structure drove the action and soon enough the field was whittled down to a seven-handed final table that included Jim Collopy, Anthony Hu, Ky Nguyen, Phu Vo, and Ravee Sundara.\u003C/p>\n\u003Cp>Event number six winner, Adam Hendrix, along with PGT regular, Sean Troah, weren't able to go the distance this time around, but they'll have one more crack at it in the final high roller event on Sunday. \u003C/p>\n\u003Cp>Collopy led the way but fell to the near bottom of the chip counts early on when his run-down hand couldn't crack Nguyen's pocket aces, giving Nguyen the full double and the chip lead. Collopy would then find his exit in sixth place after moving his remaining chips all-in from the big blind and having his pocket kings cracked by Nguyen's pocket jacks.\u003C/p>\n\u003Cp>Sundara and Vo were eliminated in seventh and fifth place, respectively, and Hu would exit on the bubble after Nguyen made a straight flush against Hu's pair and straight draw. \u003C/p>\n\u003Cp>Nguyen held a commanding lead over Morris and Muller at the start of three-handed play but lost big pots to both players early on and then, down to his last ten big blinds, moved all-in over the pot-sized flop bet of Muller with a pair and a flush draw to find himself in good shape against the smaller flush draw of Muller. However, Muller would find his straight outs to eliminate Nguyen in third place. This is Nguyen's second cash of the PGT season.\u003C/p>\n\u003Cp>Muller started heads-up with nearly a five-to-one chip lead over Morris, but Morris would drag a few pots early on and then was able to double when his flopped set of kings turned into a rivered straight against the two pair of Muller. However, the tournament came to an end a few hands later after Morris raised the pot from the big blind against the button limp of Muller. The two players ended up all-in and Morris' open-ended straight draw couldn't improve against the top pair of Muller. \u003C/p>\n\u003Cp>At the season's end, the top 40 eligible players on the PGT leaderboard will qualify for the PGT Championship. Players looking to take down the final high roller of the series included PGT regs Jim Collopy, Adam Hendrix (who won high roller number one), Isaac Kempton, Alex Livingston, Ren Lin, and Jonathan Tamayo. \u003C/p>\n\u003Cp>The turbo structure drove the action and after the eliminations of Hendrix, Collopy, Lin, Tamayo, Livingston, and others, the field was whittled down to a seven-handed final table that included Kempton, Ky Nguyen, Mark Ioli, and David Wang. \u003C/p>\n\u003Cp>Keijzer was able to amass a large stack early on and came into the final table as the overall chip leader. He was also the first player to cross the million chip mark and only fell below it once after losing a big pot to Morris four-handed, where Morris tabled two pair to take it down.\u003C/p>\n\u003Cp>Wang and Gary Horn both came in as final table short stacks and neither were able to find their footing, with Wang the first elimination in seventh, and Horn following shortly after in sixth. \u003C/p>\n\u003Cp>Kempton was eliminated on the bubble when, short on chips, he moved all-in from the big blind over the button raise of Keijzer. Kempton's overpair was unable to fade the drawing hand of Keijzer and was out the door when Keijzer's open-ended straight draw completed on the river.   \u003C/p>\n\u003Cp>Ioli maintained a middling stack for most of the final table, but would move toward the top of the chip counts when he beat both Morris and Keijzer in big pots during five-handed play. However, Ioli would start to lose his grip after losing a flip to Morris, then would find his exit in fourth place a short while later after his ace-king-queen-five lost to the ace-queen-queen-five of Keijzer.  \u003C/p>\n\u003Cp>Ky Nguyen started three-handed play as the shortest in chips and was able find a good hand to try and double with, but unfortunately, his pocket aces fell to the flopped set of jacks of Morris, sending Nguyen to the payout desk in third to collect a payday of $17,600. \u003C/p>\n\u003Cp>Keijzer started heads-up with a three-to-one chip lead over Morris, but Morris was able to double early by winning an all-in flip with ace-king-ten-seven to Keijzer's king-queen-queen-nine to even up the chip stacks. At that point, a deal was made and the two players decided to chop the money and play for the belt buckle trophy.\u003C/p>\n\u003Cp>The tournament would end a few hands later when Morris raised Keijzer's button limp and then bet the pot on ace-eight-four. Keijzer moved all-in with king-ten-eight-four and Morris called with ace-jack-jack-deuce. Keijzer's two pair found a hold to secure the trophy and deliver Morris his second consecutive runner-up finish of the high roller series.\u003C/p>\n\u003Cp>At the season's end, the top 40 eligible players on the PGT leaderboard will qualify for the PGT Championship. The\u003Ca href=\"https://www.pgt.com/press-releases/pgt-championship-1000000-freeroll-returns-for-2024-season\"> 2024 PGT Championship will be a $1,000,000 freeroll\u003C/a> with a $500,000 first-place.
