Her most recent performance in the feature film The Apostle opposite <a href="/web/20220121084318/https://filmbug.com/db/2320">Robert Duvall</a> earned her a Best Actress nomination from the Independent Spirit Awards. Fawcett's other credits include the successful off- Broadway run of <i>Extremities</i>, and the feature film <i>Man of the House</i>, opposite <a href="/web/20220121084318/https://filmbug.com/db/4225">Chevy Chase</a> and Jonathon Taylor Thomas.<p> Fawcett was introduced to the American public in 1977 in the debut of <i>Charlie's Angels</i>, which also earned her a People's Choice Award and a Golden Globe nomination. Fawcett has also been honored with a Golden Globe nomination for her role as Barbara Hutton in the miniseries <i>Poor Little Rich Girl</i> and won the Cable ACE Award for Best Actress for her portrayal of the legendary photographer Margaret Bourke-White in TNT's telefilm <i>The Margaret Bourke White Story</i>.
