The Bay Area poker haven is set to award more than $1.2 million in guaranteed prize money throughout the series, with the largest chunk dedicated to the $500,000 guaranteed $1,700 buy-in WSOPC Graton no-limit hold’em main event, which will run from Feb. 21-24. The same tournament was held last August at the venue. It attracted 580 entries, handily surpassing the $500,000 guarantee to build a final prize pool of $877,185. Granite Bay, CA resident Sasha Sabbaghian came out on top in the end, earning first WSOPC gold ring and the top prize of $168,015. There are a total of eight events sporting guarantees, with four featuring six figures worth of promised prize money. The Bay Area poker haven is set to award more than $1.2 million in guaranteed prize money throughout the series, with the largest chunk dedicated to the <a href="https://www.cardplayer.com/poker-tournaments/11603-2024-2025-wsop-circuit-bay-area-winter/1159313">$500,000 guaranteed $1,700 buy-in <em><span class="caps"><span class="caps">WSOPC</span></span> Graton</em> no-limit hold’em main event,</a> which will run from Feb. 21-24.</p> <p><img src="https://media.cardplayer.com/assets/000/037/857/WSOPC_2024.jpeg" style="width:170px;height:256px;margin:0px 0px;border:3px solid;" class="right caption" title="Sasha Sabbaghian" alt="Sasha Sabbaghian" />The same tournament was held last August at the venue. It attracted 580 entries, handily surpassing the $500,000 guarantee to build a final prize pool of $877,185. Granite Bay, CA resident <a href="https://www.cardplayer.com/poker-news/29281-sasha-sabbaghian-wins-2024-world-series-of-poker-circuit-graton-main-event">Sasha Sabbaghian came out on top in the end,</a> earning first <em><span class="caps"><span class="caps">WSOPC</span></span></em> gold ring and the top prize of $168,015.</p> <p>There are a total of eight events sporting guarantees, with four featuring six figures worth of promised prize money. In addition to the half-million main event, there is also a $250,000 guaranteed $400 mystery bounty tournament (Feb. 13-16), a $600 no-limit hold’em ‘Monster Stack’ with a $150,000 guarantee (Feb. 18-20), and a $1,250 buy-in that also comes with a $150,000 guarantee (Feb. 19-20).</p> <p>There are also multiple seniors events (Feb. 17, 24) and a ladies event (Feb. 20) on the schedule, as well as mixed-game offerings like the $400 Omaha eight-or-better (Feb. 18), the $400 H.O.R.S.E.
