This enhanced entry requirement into the State of Hawaii is MANDATORY and includes creating a <a href="https://travel.hawaii.gov/#/">Safe Travels Hawaii</a> account, filing a State of Hawaii Health Questionnaire (to be completed within 24 hours of your flight from your Safe Travels Hawaii account), and a mandatory 10-day quarantine with the <i>option of a vaccination exception program or a negative pre-travel NAAT test from a trusted testing partner</i> to bypass quarantine. Once you arrive at the Kona airport, make sure your QR code has been screened by airport personnel in order for your Safe Travels Trips Exemption Information to be updated. You will need to provide this information as evidence that you are exempt from the mandatory 10-day quarantine to secure your ground transportation and hotel accommodations. Participants not staying at the Fairmont Orchid will need to provide this information to the PSB registration staff upon check-in to PSB 2026. International travelers, please check the <a href="https://hawaiicovid19.com/travel/faqs/">Safe Travels FAQs</a> for the most up-to-date policy. Papers and presentations are rigorously peer reviewed and are published in an archival proceedings volume. 2026 marks the 31st year of PSB. PSB 2026 will be held on January 3-7, 2026 at the Fairmont Orchid on the Big Island of Hawaii. </p> <p> Workshops will be offered prior to the start of the conference. </p> <p> PSB brings together top researchers from the US, the Asian Pacific nations, and around the world to exchange research results and address open issues in all aspects of computational biology. PSB is a forum for the presentation of work in databases, algorithms, interfaces, visualization, modeling, and other computational methods, as applied to biological problems, with emphasis on applications in data-rich areas of molecular biology. </p> <p> The PSB has been designed to be responsive to the need for critical mass in sub-disciplines within biocomputing. For that reason, it is the only meeting whose sessions are defined dynamically each year in response to specific proposals. PSB sessions are organized by leaders in the emerging areas and targeted to provide a forum for publication and discussion of research in biocomputing's "hot topics." In this way, PSB provides an early forum for serious examination of emerging methods and approaches in this rapidly changing field. </p> <p> <!--a href="/registration">Online registration</a> is open.</a--> Online registration will open on August 1, 2025. </p> </div> </div> <footer class="row"> <hr/> <div class="col-md-6"><a href="/">Back to the main PSB page</a></div> <!--div class="col-md-6 text-right">Updated: January 22, 2018</div--> </footer> </article> <script src="//ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.10.2/jquery.min.js"></script> <script>window.jQuery || document.write('<script src="/js/vendor/jquery-1.10.2.min.js"><\/script>')</script> <script src="/js/plugins.js"></script> <script src="/js/main.js"></script> </body> </html>
