Rees Cosgrove, MD, FRCSC, FACS, is the Director of Epilepsy and Functional Neurosurgery in the Department of Neurosurgery at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School. As a leader in academic neurosurgery, he is a member of the executive committee of the World Society of Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery; past president of the American Society of Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery and an active member of the American Association of Neurosurgeons; the Congress of Neurological Surgeons; the American Academy of Neurological Surgery; and the Society of Neurological Surgeons. Dr. Cosgrove is the author of over 160 peer-reviewed publications and 71 book chapters. He has been an invited guest lecturer over 180 times and a visiting professor at 63 different academic institutions around the world. Dr. Cosgrove received his training at the Montreal Neurological Institute and has received a number of honors, including the Gold Medal in Surgery of Queen’s University, the Wilder Penfield Award of the Montreal Neurological Institute, the Daniel D. His organization Nanhai Affiliated Hospital for Women and Children Guangzhou University Chinese Medicine. Work Performance In the past 40 years, Professor Liu Zhen Huan has created the original pediatric neuron rehabilitation head acupuncture therapy, which has been applied to pediatric neurological diseases in more than 30 countries around the world, such as cerebral palsy, autism, mental retardation, ADHD and other clinical results have been very significant. He has been engaged in pediatric clinical and child rehabilitation for 40 years. Led the rehabilitation team to treat more than 40,000 cases of children with intellectual disability, cerebral palsy and autism from China and more than 20 countries including France, the US, Japan, U. K, Germany, etc. More than 26800 childrenâ€™s deformity returned to school and society and became self-sufficient. The rehabilitation effect ranks the international advanced level. He is one of the most famous pediatric neurological and rehabilitation specialists in integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine in China. He has been influential in pediatric neuroscience, pediatrics rehabilitation, and traditional medicine throughout the world. Since 1993, I have given lectures at invitation in 30 countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Spain, Norway, Germany, Brazil, Turkey, Singapore, Portugal, Indonesia and Malaysia. He completed his PhD in the UNR studying the regulation of lipid synthesis during cold-shock response and sporulation in the model bacterium Bacillus subtilis. He performed his postdoctoral studies in molecular biology of sporulation in The Scripps Research Institute (TSRI), Department of Experimental and Molecular Medicine at San Diego, California, USA. Roberto has obtained many national and international awards, and financial funding from government agencies and private companies, during his 38 years of research on Bacillus subtilis and other spore-formers. He has published more than 45 original papers in reputed journals, directed dozens of graduate and PhD thesis, formed more than fifty professional groups in science, visited many universities and research institutes around the globe (France, Spain, Germany, India, Japan, Brazil, Cuba, Chile, U.S.A., U.K.), founded and/or catalyzed the creation of half-dozen biotechnological companies, including Kyojin S.A.
