target="_blank">Adoption Model for Analytics Maturity</a> at the HIMSS24 Asia-Pacific conference in Seoul.</p> <p dir="ltr"><span id="docs-internal-guid-09e7903b-7fff-c176-ccf3-2947a2bd8119">The earlier version of AMAM will now be referred to as AMAM Classic and the modernised version will be referred to as AMAM24.</span></p> <p dir="ltr"><strong><span id="docs-internal-guid-09e7903b-7fff-c176-ccf3-2947a2bd8119">WHY IT MATTERS</span></strong></p> <p dir="ltr"><span id="docs-internal-guid-09e7903b-7fff-c176-ccf3-2947a2bd8119">The new AMAM maturity framework centres on five key imperatives for healthcare organisations:</span></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc;"> <li aria-level="1" dir="ltr"> <p dir="ltr" role="presentation"><span id="docs-internal-guid-09e7903b-7fff-c176-ccf3-2947a2bd8119">Governance; </span></p> </li> <li aria-level="1" dir="ltr"> <p dir="ltr" role="presentation"><span id="docs-internal-guid-09e7903b-7fff-c176-ccf3-2947a2bd8119">Analytics life cycle;</span></p> </li> <li aria-level="1" dir="ltr"> <p dir="ltr" role="presentation"><span id="docs-internal-guid-09e7903b-7fff-c176-ccf3-2947a2bd8119">Data and infrastructure;</span></p> </li> <li aria-level="1" dir="ltr"> <p dir="ltr" role="presentation"><span id="docs-internal-guid-09e7903b-7fff-c176-ccf3-2947a2bd8119">Personalised analytics; and</span></p> </li> <li aria-level="1" dir="ltr"> <p dir="ltr" role="presentation"><span id="docs-internal-guid-09e7903b-7fff-c176-ccf3-2947a2bd8119">Analytics impact and outcomes.</span></p> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><span id="docs-internal-guid-09e7903b-7fff-c176-ccf3-2947a2bd8119">HIMSS redesigned the AMAM to enable the successful adoption of advanced analytics, and AI in particular, for health organisations to achieve priority outcomes. It begins with the foundational requirements of data, digital infrastructure, and governance.</span></p> <p dir="ltr"><span id="docs-internal-guid-09e7903b-7fff-c176-ccf3-2947a2bd8119">Like the other HIMSS maturity models, AMAM24 is structured around a ladder of eight maturity stages - from zero to seven - to help healthcare organisations optimise their healthcare analytics capabilities, offering an evidence-based framework for improving data governance, predictive analytics, and AI usage.</span></p> <p dir="ltr"><strong><span id="docs-internal-guid-09e7903b-7fff-c176-ccf3-2947a2bd8119">THE LARGER TREND</span></strong></p> <p dir="ltr"><span id="docs-internal-guid-09e7903b-7fff-c176-ccf3-2947a2bd8119">Globally, 26 organisations achieved Stage 6 and 13 have achieved Stage 7 for the AMAM. In APAC, two organisations (</span><a href="https://www.healthcareitnews.com/news/asia/china-medical-university-hospital-achieves-three-himss-validations" target="_blank">China Medical University Hospital</a>, and Seoul National University Bundang Hospital) have reached AMAM Stage 6. South Korea's Samsung Medical Center is the <a href="https://www.healthcareitnews.com/news/asia/end-end-analytics-samsung-medical-center-first-apac-reach-highest-stage-himss-analytics" target="_blank">only organisation in APAC to have achieved Stage 7</a>. </p> <p dir="ltr"><strong><span id="docs-internal-guid-09e7903b-7fff-c176-ccf3-2947a2bd8119">ON THE RECORD</span></strong></p>
