Do you wish you knew how to respond when you see inappropriate or exclusive behaviours taking place? Why not join the <span class="caps">EGU</span> Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (<span class="caps">EDI</span>) Committee’s Bystander Intervention Workshop, run in partnership with <span class="caps">ADVANCEG</span>eo!</p> <p>The European Geosciences Union, through its <a href="https://www.egu.eu/structure/committees-and-working-groups/edi/" rel="nofollow">Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Committee</a> aims to promote and support equality, diversity, and inclusion in the Earth and space sciences, with a focus on <span class="caps">EGU</span> activities. The <span class="caps">EDI</span> committee works closely with the <span class="caps">EGU</span> Council and Outreach Committee to implement activities that promote equality, diversity and inclusion.</p> <p><a href="https://serc.carleton.edu/advancegeo" rel="nofollow"><span class="caps">ADVANCEG</span>eo</a> is a national, interdisciplinary, and multi-institutional partnership founded through a National Science Foundation award to improve workplace climate conditions through the promotion of bystander intervention education and policies to appropriately respond to and prevent harassment, bullying, and other identity-based exclusionary behaviors in research and learning environments.</p> <p>This online workshop will be run on <strong>22 November 2024, 14:00-17:00 <span class="caps">CET</span>, online</strong> and will address these topics directly in the course. The workshop is free of charge, however, there is limited capacity, and 30 spots will be allocated based on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.</p> <p><a href="https://egu.eu/11V8OV/"
