My hypothesis is that vascular disturbance in patients with DM may be due to morning hypertension and that patients with type 2 DM may be due a deficeny of secretion or function in incretin-related hormones. Professor Chen’s research interests include wound healing in diabetes mellitus, pathogenesis of atopic dermatitis and psoriasis, cutaneous vasculitis and photomedicine for anti-aging. He had been appointed as a member of the Taiwan Medical Association, Taiwanese Dermatological Society, Chinese Family Medical Society, Japanese Dermatological Association, and Taiwanese Society for Investigative Dermatology.
