<section class="adage-block wysiwyg "> <div class="adage-block-inner adage-wysiwyg-block"> <h2>AAP Meeting Code of Conduct</h2> <p>AAP is committed to inclusion, equity, and respectful treatment of all meeting participants and seeks to provide a safe and professional atmosphere in which attendees may learn, network, and participate in a welcoming environment of mutual respect. All participants, including, but not limited to, attendees, speakers, volunteers, exhibitors, AAP staff, service providers, and all others are expected to abide by this <strong>Code of Conduct</strong>. This applies to all AAP meetings and events, including those sponsored by organizations other than AAP but held in conjunction with AAP events, on virtual, in-person, public or private platforms. Conduct that is prohibited includes:</p> <ul> <li>Harassment or intimidation of any kind including those based on race, color, ethnicity, national origin, age, religion, language, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, physical appearance, disability, veteran/military status, marital/partner status, parental status or other group status.</li> <li>Sexual harassment or intimidation, including unwelcome sexual attention, stalking (physical or virtual), or unsolicited physical contact.</li> <li>Physical violence, yelling or other threatening behavior.</li> <li>Disruption of presentations during sessions, in the exhibit hall, or at other events.</li> <li>The possession or use of any weapons, including firearms, knives, or other dangerous items, is strictly prohibited at all meeting venues and during any event-related activities.</li> <li>Use or possession of illegal drugs and/or severe intoxication.</li> <li>Photography, video recording, and/or screenshots without written permission from the AAP and appropriate notification to participants.</li> </ul> <p>Participants asked by anyone to stop engaging in hostile or harassing behaviors are expected to comply immediately.
