Smith</a></div></span></div><div class="box"></div></div><div class="mainbar"><div class="box"> <h1><a name="idm211217024"><a href="http://philo.at/contao/"> <img border="0" align="right" hspace="12" width="150" src="http://wab.uib.no/graphics/agora_logo_neu.bmp"><span class="small"></span>AGORA - Scholarly Open Access Research in European Philosophy (2011-2013) </a></a></h1> The AGORA project is funded by the European Union within the Competitiveness and Innovation Framework programme. <br><br> AGORA's aim is to improve the spread of research results in the field of European philosophy and advance new paradigms of Open Access (OA) publishing, peer review and rendering by interlinking current scientific information among each other and its underlying datasets. AGORA will extend an existing federation of digital libraries named Philosource, created within the framework of the eContentplus <a href="http://wab.uib.no/wab_discovery.page">DISCOVERY</a> project. Philosource contains an extensive collection of high quality OA content from classical to contemporary European philosophy. AGORA will extend the Philosource Federation into a specialised OA archive and publishing venue for new scholarship by giving access to existing and newly produced research output such as scholarly articles, monographs, reviews, audiovisual lectures and its underlying datasets.<br><br> AGORA will carry out a number of experiments designed to develop a model for establishing and accessing a growing open research archive for scholarly publication in the humanities: Advanced scholarly semantic linking; Linked Open Data; Open peer review; Open Access business models. <BR><BR> <ul type="disc"> <li>Full title: AGORA - Scholarly Open Access Research in European Philosophy</li> <li>Proposal: 31.5.2010.
