Nguyen, PA-C - Peninsula Gastroenterology Medical Group" src="/client_files/image/hoan-nguyen-pac.jpg" />Hoan was born and raised in Vietnam until 2010 when she moved to Southern California. She attended University of California, Irvine and was a part of the National Honor Society of Pre-Health student, AED. She attended the University of Pittsburgh Physician Assistant Program in Pennsylvania where she worked with UPMC and Cleveland Clinic. She served as President of the Physician Assistant Student Promoting Diversity and Inclusion in her cohort. She helped found Pitt's Future Health Care Provider Outreach Program. She was also involved with the National Society of Black PAs and their national Student Diversity Initiative group.</p><p>Outside of medicine, Hoan is also a serious foodie and coffee lover. She loves traveling to explore new food, sceneries and culture. She has a huge passion for art and cooking as well. Her favorite hobbies include tennis, rock climbing/bouldering, and hiking.
