fashion. From visual kei to burlesque, the eyepatch has been used to accentuate elements of romanticism, glamour, and mystique throughout the ages.</p> <p>Advertising giant David Ogilvy knew this in 1951 when he created &#8220;<a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://www.finelinemultimedia.com/blog/web-marketing/man-hathaway-shirt-story-appeal-applies-internet-marketing/">the man in the Hathaway shirt</a>,&#8221; a campaign that put a tiny company on the map by featuring a distinguished-looking man with a mysterious eyepatch in a series of ads that continued to run for over 25 years and inspired dozens of copycats.</p> <p>David &#8220;<a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KMj_KWftpBM">Wear the Eyepatch</a>&#8220; Bowie knew this in 1972 when he popularized the patch during his Ziggy Stardust era, influencing everyone from <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a13/Dieuan/dead-or-alive-you-spin-me-round.jpg">Peter Burns</a> to <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://img.metro.co.uk/i/pix/2009/02/rihannapatchFM_450x350.jpg">Rihanna</a>. And of course, film directors know that <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://www.totalfilm.com/features/5-most-soulful-eye-patches-in-cinema">an eyepatch can create the character</a>, from Quentin Tarantino&#8217;s <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://images4.fanpop.com/image/photos/20500000/Elle-Driver-kill-bill-20560731-1280-960.jpg">Elle Driver</a> to John Carpenter&#8217;s <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snake_Plissken">Snake Plissen</a>. It can be said that the most (come to think of it, the only) memorable thing from <em>Sky Captain and The World of Tomorrow </em>was the sight of<a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://www.1zoom.net/big/54/33672-pchelkamia.jpg"> Angie with an eyepatch</a>.</p> <p><img src="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528im_/http://coilhouse.net/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/eyepatchparty02.jpg" alt=""/></p> <p>Of course, stylish eyepatches aren&#8217;t just for show. For centuries, people with eye ailments have incorporated the patch into their personal style. The first chic eyepatch-wearer may have been Spanish princess <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ana_de_Mendoza,_Princess_of_Eboli">Doña Ana de Mendoza y de la Cerda</a>. Around 1545, young Ana lost her eye in an accident during a playfight with one of her guards. Donning an eyepatch only fueled her popularity at the court, and it is said that she had a bejeweled eyepatch for every dress she owned.</p> <p>Film director Fritz Lang&#8217;s eye problems started in 1916, the same year he stumbled into film. While recuperating from war wounds that would eventually cost him his eye, he began to write scripts and took up acting. In his younger years, he wore <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://www.icollector.com/Fritz-Lang-s-Metropolis-monocle_i10030538">a monocle</a> over his injured eye; later in life, an <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_PB-O1yT5EYg/SxnCKtUX_UI/AAAAAAAAxVg/vjfHUYI1NLY/s400/lang_1974.jpg">eyepatch under dark glasses</a>. Knowing the director&#8217;s struggle towards monocular vision, <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_Y32nBaee2kw/TN8QURfSTAI/AAAAAAAABMg/10PbM844lI0/s400/metropolis3.jpg">Maria&#8217;s lingering robot wink </a>in Metropolis somehow feels much more significant. Other fabulous/functional eyepatch-wearers include <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/https://www.google.com/search?q=slick%20rick&amp;um=1&amp;ie=UTF-8&amp;hl=en&amp;tbm=isch&amp;source=og&amp;sa=N&amp;tab=wi&amp;ei=6wk8T-vaCIjRiALq5tiSDA&amp;biw=1305&amp;bih=732&amp;sei=7Ak8T4LJFOnZiALPxPSSDA">Slick Rick</a>, <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://jmb.rsmjournals.com/content/18/1/57/F1.medium.gif">James Joyce</a> and <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Momus_(musician)">Momus</a>.</p> <p>I never thought I&#8217;d have to wear an eyepatch for any reason other than a fashion shoot or a fancy night out. But following some recent eye problems, I have to wear one for at least a portion of each day, for at least a little while. Thus began my trawl through Tumblr, Flickr, and fashion blogs in search for the perfect patch. The search uncovered dozens of beautiful images from Coilhouse friends and family. After the jump, an epic collection of over 60 eyepatches featuring Mother of London, Salvador Dali, PUREVILE!, James Dean, Amelia Arsenic, Chad Michael Ward, Shien Lee, Antiseptic, Jane Doe, Alyz Tale, Atsuko Kudo and many others. I suspect that many of you have eyepatch photos as well. If you&#8217;ve got one, post it in the comments!</p> <p> <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/2012/02/eyepatch-party-2/#more-29934" class="more-link"> <div class="moar"><img src="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528im_/http://coilhouse.net/wp-content/themes/coilhouse/images//readtherest.jpg"/></div> <p></a></p> </div> <p class="postmetadata"> Posted by <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/?page_id=26#nadya"> Nadya Lev</a> on February 15th, 2012 <br> Filed under <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/category/faboo/" title="View all posts in Faboo" rel="category tag">Faboo</a>, <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/category/fashion/" title="View all posts in Fashion" rel="category tag">Fashion</a>, <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/category/fetish/" title="View all posts in Fetish" rel="category tag">Fetish</a>, <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/category/grrrl/" title="View all posts in Grrrl" rel="category tag">Grrrl</a>, <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/category/hair/" title="View all posts in Hair" rel="category tag">Hair</a>, <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/category/medical/" title="View all posts in Medical" rel="category tag">Medical</a>, <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/category/personal-style/" title="View all posts in Personal Style" rel="category tag">Personal Style</a>, <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/category/photography/" title="View all posts in Photography" rel="category tag">Photography</a> | <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/2012/02/eyepatch-party-2/#comments" title="Comment on Eyepatch Party!">Comments (7)</a> </p> </div> <div><img src="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528im_/http://coilhouse.net/wp-content/themes/coilhouse/lines.jpg" width="400"></div> <div class="post" id="post-29783"> <h2><a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/2012/02/circa-1923-cycle-skating/" rel="bookmark" title="Permanent Link to Cycle-Skating In Paris">Cycle-Skating In Paris</a></h2> <div class="entry"> <p><iframe src="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528if_/http://www.youtube.com/embed/UjtPn4orR9A" frameborder="0" width="400" height="315"></iframe></p> <p>If you were a Parisian gentleman in 1923 looking for the newest thing in personal mobility, you may have had a keen interest in the above: cycle-skating. The video was art-directed by <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://www.juxtapoz.com/Features/back-talk-a-conversation-with-sebastian-masuda">Sebastian Masuda</a>, a pioneer of &#8220;kawaii culture&#8221; who also founded Harajuku fashion label <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://tokyofashion.com/brands/6dokidoki/">%6DOKIDOKI</a>. Masuda and Kyary also recently collaborated on an exhibition titled <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://tokyofashion.com/table-of-dreams-christmas-kyary-pamyu-pamyu/">Table of Dreams</a>.</p> <p>In <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://kyarychan.tumblr.com/post/15348993981/oh-my-god-harajuku-girl-exclusive-interview">describing his first meeting and subsequent collaboration with Kyary</a>, Nakata calls her &#8220;the &#8216;spirit bomb&#8217; of Harajuku culture.&#8221; (The spirit bomb, the translator explains, &#8220;refers to an attack in the classic anime &#8216;Dragon Ball&#8217;, which channels the energy of surrounding life forms into a powerful sphere.&#8221;) Kyary&#8217;s success, writes Nakata, lies in her ability to infect people with enthusiasm for her projects. &#8220;I think it’s because everyone who gathers around Kyary feels like, &#8216;if I were with Kyary, I’d be able to express things that are new to me.&#8217; That is, of course, how I feel too. So it’s different from a collaboration, and &#8211; to tell the truth &#8211; even saying that I produce her has a different meaning. The closest I can get is saying, &#8216;I’m doing it just for the fun of it.&#8217; I feel like Kyary has this power in her to involve people that way.&#8221;</p> <p>See also:</p> <ul> <li><a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/2011/07/kyary-pamyu-pamyu-pon-pon-pon/">Kyary Pamyu Pamyu: Pon Pon Pon</a></li> <li><a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/2008/12/better-than-coffee-duke-gets-yiffy-wid-it/">Better Than Coffee: Duke Gets Yiffy Wid’ It</a></li> </ul> <p>[via <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/https://twitter.com/#!/nicoles">Nicole Aptekar</a>]</p> </div> <p class="postmetadata"> Posted by <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/?page_id=26#nadya"> Nadya Lev</a> on January 31st, 2012 <br> Filed under <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/category/drugs/" title="View all posts in Drugs" rel="category tag">Drugs</a>, <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/category/faboo/" title="View all posts in Faboo" rel="category tag">Faboo</a>, <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/category/fashion/" title="View all posts in Fashion" rel="category tag">Fashion</a>, <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/category/grrrl/" title="View all posts in Grrrl" rel="category tag">Grrrl</a>, <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/category/japan/" title="View all posts in Japan" rel="category tag">Japan</a>, <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/category/music/" title="View all posts in Music" rel="category tag">Music</a>, <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/category/silly-looking-types/" title="View all posts in Silly-looking types" rel="category tag">Silly-looking types</a>, <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/category/surreal/" title="View all posts in Surreal" rel="category tag">Surreal</a> | <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/2012/01/the-spirit-bomb-of-harajuku-culture/#comments" title="Comment on The “Spirit Bomb” of Harajuku Culture">Comments (6)</a> </p> </div> <div><img src="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528im_/http://coilhouse.net/wp-content/themes/coilhouse/lines.jpg" width="400"></div> <div class="post" id="post-29631"> <h2><a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/2012/01/r-i-p-eiko-ishioka-july-1939-january-21-2012/" rel="bookmark" title="Permanent Link to R.I.P. A deliberate marriage of East and West — she had lived in Manhattan for many years — it simultaneously embraced the gothic, the otherworldly, the dramatic and the unsettling and was suffused with a powerful, dark eroticism. We&#8217;d love to see what you come up with. After the cut, a brief interview with the maker.</p> <p><strong>Are you at all worried about the film studio suing you?</strong><br/> I am, a little, as I think I&#8217;ve got a solid case for the independence of this art from the works that it references, but can easily be shut down by the studio on a whim. I don&#8217;t have the financial weight to do anything but to submit to an injunction or C&amp;D, as I can&#8217;t afford the kind of legal representation it takes to swat off Time Warner. Guy Fawkes has gone from a person, to a caricature represented in mask and effigy, to a comic book character, to a film character, to an iconic mask, to the face of an ambiguous entity, to a symbol for revolution and direct action for social change. How a single company could own all that baffles me.</p> <p> <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/2012/01/coilhouse-presents-matthew-borgattis-ows-bandanna-remix-pack/#more-29476" class="more-link"> <div class="moar"><img src="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528im_/http://coilhouse.net/wp-content/themes/coilhouse/images//readtherest.jpg"/></div> <p></a></p> </div> <p class="postmetadata"> Posted by <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/?page_id=26#nadya"> Nadya Lev</a> on January 23rd, 2012 <br> Filed under <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/category/activism/" title="View all posts in Activism" rel="category tag">Activism</a>, <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/category/adornment/" title="View all posts in Adornment" rel="category tag">Adornment</a>, <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/category/diy/" title="View all posts in DIY" rel="category tag">DIY</a>, <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/category/fashion/" title="View all posts in Fashion" rel="category tag">Fashion</a>, <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/category/politics/" title="View all posts in Politics" rel="category tag">Politics</a>, <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/category/propaganda/" title="View all posts in Propaganda" rel="category tag">Propaganda</a>, <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/category/revolutionary/" title="View all posts in Revolutionary" rel="category tag">Revolutionary</a>, <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/category/silly-looking-types/" title="View all posts in Silly-looking types" rel="category tag">Silly-looking types</a>, <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/category/uniform/" title="View all posts in Uniform" rel="category tag">Uniform</a>, <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/category/war/" title="View all posts in War" rel="category tag">War</a> | <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/2012/01/coilhouse-presents-matthew-borgattis-ows-bandanna-remix-pack/#comments" title="Comment on Coilhouse Presents: Matthew Borgatti’s OWS Bandanna Remix Pack!">Comments (7)</a> </p> </div> <div><img src="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528im_/http://coilhouse.net/wp-content/themes/coilhouse/lines.jpg" width="400"></div> <div class="post" id="post-29351"> <h2><a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/2012/01/fotoshop-by-adobe/" rel="bookmark" title="Permanent Link to “Fotoshop” by “Adobé”">&#8220;Fotoshop&#8221; by &#8220;Adobé&#8221;</a></h2> <div class="entry"> <p>A deftly crafted satirical fauxmercial by <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://vimeo.com/34813864">Jesse Rosten</a> sings the praises of an beauty industry secret known as &#8220;Fotoshop&#8221;:</p> <p><object width="398" height="224" classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" codebase="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528oe_/http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0"><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true"/><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"/><param name="src" value="http://vimeo.com/moogaloop.swf?clip_id=34813864&amp;server=vimeo.com&amp;show_title=0&amp;show_byline=0&amp;show_portrait=0&amp;color=00adef&amp;fullscreen=1&amp;autoplay=0&amp;loop=0"/><embed width="398" height="224" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" src="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528oe_/http://vimeo.com/moogaloop.swf?clip_id=34813864&amp;server=vimeo.com&amp;show_title=0&amp;show_byline=0&amp;show_portrait=0&amp;color=00adef&amp;fullscreen=1&amp;autoplay=0&amp;loop=0" allowfullscreen="true" allowscriptaccess="always"/></object></p> <p>&#8220;You don&#8217;t have to rely on a healthy body image or self respect anymore. Here is <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://rhizome.org/editorial/2011/dec/19/take-book/">an excerpt</a> from the book. To many people, the destruction of the library was a painful moment in Americna history; the image of police throwing carefully-curated, free books from the volunteer-run library into dump trucks felt like a symbol for the repression of free speech.</p> <p><em>&#8220;Take This Book</em> is an extended essay &#8212; just over 10,000 words &#8212; based on the stories of the librarians and the library&#8217;s patrons. (Maybe you were one of them.) It can&#8217;t be the whole story, because it&#8217;s still happening.&#8221; Donating $1 will get you a digital copy of the book, and donating $20 or more will get you a print edition. For $250 or more, you can get a signed and numbered &#8220;People&#8217;s Library&#8221; print from Molly Crabapple, seen above. <strong>There are only 18 hours left on this campaign at time of writing. <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/melissagiragrant/take-this-book-the-peoples-library-at-occupy-wall">Donate now!</a></strong></p> <p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-29163" title="ethicalcorsets" src="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528im_/http://coilhouse.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/ethicalcorsets.jpg" alt="" width="400" height="545"/></p> <p><a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1333754886/rachael-reicherts-ethical-luxury-corset-collection">Rachael Reichert&#8217;s Ethical Luxury Corset Collection.</a> When you Google image search &#8220;eco clothing&#8221; and variations thereof, you get a lot of green and earth tones, lots of yoga pants, and more than a fair share of loose, flowy dresses. This is great, but it leaves many of us who care about ethical clothing of a more vintage/fetishy persuasion out in the cold. Designer <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://rachaelreichert.blogspot.com/">Rachael Reichert</a> wants to take on the challenge of crafting a collection of luxury corsets using nothing but ethical, fair-trade and (when possible) locally-sourced material.</p> <p>Her fabrics will will include organic cotton that is grown, woven, and dyed according to Global Organic Trade Standards in India, as well as peace silk or wild silk, produced by a process in which &#8220;fibre is pulled out from the cocoon after the moth has emerged, and hand spun.&#8221; Reichert plans to use steels bones, vintage twill tape, aluminium grommets, and locally handmade bobbin lace as well as her own signature handmade thread lace. Her tags indicate that this is a century-old French photo postcard from her vast personal archive.</p> <p>Dang, right?</p> </div> <p class="postmetadata"> Posted by <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/?page_id=26#mer"> Meredith Yayanos</a> on December 28th, 2011 <br> Filed under <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/category/faboo/" title="View all posts in Faboo" rel="category tag">Faboo</a>, <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/category/fashion/" title="View all posts in Fashion" rel="category tag">Fashion</a>, <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/category/goth/" title="View all posts in Goth" rel="category tag">Goth</a>, <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/category/grrrl/" title="View all posts in Grrrl" rel="category tag">Grrrl</a>, <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/category/photography/" title="View all posts in Photography" rel="category tag">Photography</a>, <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/category/vive-la-france/" title="View all posts in Vive la France" rel="category tag">Vive la France</a>, <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/category/victoriana/" title="View all posts in Ye Olde" rel="category tag">Ye Olde</a> | <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/2011/12/parisian-goth-1910/#comments" title="Comment on Parisian Proto-Goth Beauties, 1910">Comments (9)</a> </p> </div> <div><img src="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528im_/http://coilhouse.net/wp-content/themes/coilhouse/lines.jpg" width="400"></div> <div class="post" id="post-28999"> <h2><a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/2011/12/what-would-a-modern-wizard-wear-mother-of-london-2012/" rel="bookmark" title="Permanent Link to “What would a modern wizard wear?” Mother of London 2012.">“What would a modern wizard wear?” Mother of London 2012.</a></h2> <div class="entry"> <p><img src="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528im_/http://coilhouse.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/motheroflondon1.jpg" alt=""/></p> <p>Clothing designer <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://www.facebook.com/pages/Mother-of-London/173911764057">Mother of London</a> (previously on Coilhouse <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/2008/10/new-mother-of-london-images-by-chad-michael-ward/">here</a> and <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/2008/11/tour-the-edison-with-mother-of-london/">here</a>, and many times in the print magazine) is getting ready to release a ready-to-wear line of clothing and an online shop. The new collection consists of the designs seen here, as well as limited-edition leggings and t-shirts that have not yet been photographed. The inspiration for this line, says designer <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/https://twitter.com/#!/mildredvon">Mildred Von Hildegard</a>, comes from wizards. &#8220;What would a modern wizard wear?&#8221;</p> <p>Much of the collection is unisex. &#8220;Gender plays a little bit too much role in the outside world,&#8221; says Mildred, &#8220;so I’m kind of dismissive of it [in my own work].&#8221; Some of the pieces are specifically cut for men or women, &#8220;but the men’s stuff in particular can be pulled over by either gender.&#8221; Like much of Mother of London&#8217;s past work, much of the clothing has a past-meets-present, out-of-time quality about it. There are feathered jackets, bad-ass biker-babe dresses with sleeves that resemble medieval suits of armor, skirts that look like they&#8217;re made out of a dozen belts, and wide-brimmed sorcerer&#8217;s hats. And if that wasn&#8217;t enough, Mildred is also working on a more elaborate, couture collection for 2012. No photos have been released, but Mildred refers to it as &#8220;Mother of London&#8230; on crack&#8221; and alludes to the fact that it&#8217;s highly tailored and detailed.</p> <p>After the jump, more final images, concept sketches, and &#8220;making-of&#8221; shots from the new Mother of London collection. It&#8217;s amazing how much the concept drawings match the final pieces.</p> <p><img src="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528im_/http://coilhouse.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/motheroflondon11.jpg" alt=""/></p> <p> <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/2011/12/what-would-a-modern-wizard-wear-mother-of-london-2012/#more-28999" class="more-link"> <div class="moar"><img src="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528im_/http://coilhouse.net/wp-content/themes/coilhouse/images//readtherest.jpg"/></div> <p></a></p> </div> <p class="postmetadata"> Posted by <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/?page_id=26#nadya"> Nadya Lev</a> on December 22nd, 2011 <br> Filed under <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/category/art/" title="View all posts in Art" rel="category tag">Art</a>, <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/category/fashion/" title="View all posts in Fashion" rel="category tag">Fashion</a>, <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/category/fetish/" title="View all posts in Fetish" rel="category tag">Fetish</a>, <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/category/gender/" title="View all posts in Gender" rel="category tag">Gender</a>, <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/category/goth/" title="View all posts in Goth" rel="category tag">Goth</a> | <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/2011/12/what-would-a-modern-wizard-wear-mother-of-london-2012/#comments" title="Comment on “What would a modern wizard wear?” Mother of London 2012.">Comments (28)</a> </p> </div> <div><img src="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528im_/http://coilhouse.net/wp-content/themes/coilhouse/lines.jpg" width="400"></div> <div class="navigation"> <div class="alignleft"><a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120217190528/http://coilhouse.net/category/fashion/page/2/">&laquo; Older Entries</a></div> <div class="alignright"></div> </div> </div> <div id="sidebar"> <ul> <!-- Author information is disabled per default.
