The best known is the <a href="/wiki/Adams_Memorial_(grave_marker)" class="mw-redirect" title="Adams Memorial (grave marker)">Adams Memorial</a>, a contemplative, <a href="/wiki/Androgyny" title="Androgyny">androgynous</a> bronze sculpture seated before a block of granite that was created by <a href="/wiki/Augustus_Saint-Gaudens" title="Augustus Saint-Gaudens">Augustus Saint-Gaudens</a> and <a href="/wiki/Stanford_White" title="Stanford White">Stanford White</a>.
