Herzlich willkommen am Institut f眉r Mechanik </h1> </header> </div> <div class="bodytext"> <p> </p> <p>Das Institut f眉r Mechanik als eines der Grundlageninstitute in der Fakult盲t f眉r Maschinenbau und Wirtschaftswissenschaften widmet sich neben der Lehre zahlreichen Forschungsthemen im vielseitigen Gebiet der Mechanik. Dazu z盲hlen unter anderem Schwingungsanalyse, Rotordynamik, mechatronische Systeme, Flugsimulation sowie Sensitivit盲ts- und Unsicherheitsanalyse.</p> <p>Aufgrund der komplexer werdenden Systeme reicht eine rein pr眉fstandorientierte Produktentwicklung nicht mehr aus, da aufgrund der hohen Anzahl der Iterationen w盲hrend des Entwicklungsprozesses hohe Kosten entstehen. Daher ist es unumg盲nglich die Simulation st盲rker in den Entwicklungsprozess einzubinden und so mehr und mehr die virtuelle Produktentwicklung voranzutreiben.</p> <p>Dabei ist es wichtig, effiziente Modelle zu entwickeln, die ein Optimum zwischen Einfachheit und Genauigkeit darstellen. Um dieses Optimum zu finden, sind experimentelle Grundlagenuntersuchungen hinsichtlich spezieller physikalischer Effekte und auch experimentelle Untersuchungen am realen System erforderlich.
