/> <p style="text-align: center;"><em>The new production hall in Ibbenbüren</em></p> <p>As part of its commitment to sustainability and environmental awareness, <strong>Green Teuto Systemtechnik (GTS)</strong> - a <strong>Krone Group company and manufacturer of agricultural machinery and commercial vehicles</strong> - has made a landmark decision. GTS planned the <strong>construction of its first production site in Ibbenbüren with a strong focus on sustainable construction methods</strong>. The company is using the CO2-reduced steel ‘<strong><a href="https://europe.arcelormittal.com/sustainability/xcarb/RRP/recycled_and_renewably_produced" target="_blank">XCarb<sup>®</sup> Recycled and Renewably Produced</a></strong>’ from ArcelorMittal, which has around 70% lower CO2 emissions than conventionally produced steel. The approx. 1,400 tonnes of steel will be installed by the Bersenbrück-based company WURST Stahlbau.</p> <p><strong>Jochen Roling</strong>, Managing Director of GTS, emphasises the signal effect of the construction project. ‘From structural steel to photovoltaics and heat pump technology - we have ensured the best possible energy supply for this new construction project in accordance with the KfW 40EE standard - renewable energies. As part of the Krone Group, we were able to prove here that we consistently implement sustainability and environmental awareness. We are part of a family business that has been acting responsibly for four generations. We set standards in terms of sustainable industry - starting with the construction steel.’</p> <p><strong>Oliver Menrath</strong>, Managing Director of ArcelorMittal Steel Trading Germany, is also positive about the collaboration: ‘We are delighted to be part of this forward-looking project. We can already supply CO2-reduced steel today.
