When I was in school, everything was deep fried. When I was in elementary school, we had actual cooks in our kitchen. We weren't fed prefab box food for every single lunch. Everything was made from scratch. Many times, it was fried but the difference is, when I was in school, we had three recesses a day: one 15 minute recess in the morning, one 30 minute recess after lunch, and one 25 minute recess just before we left for the day. Now, kids are lucky if they get one 15 minute recess a day and they're almost never allowed to get out if their seats. They sit at a desk all day doing this stupid test prep that is completely worthless.
