Niarchos Expeditions at the American Museum of Natural History</a><a href="/web/20190503091934/https://www.snf.org/en/initiatives/other/snf-wing-at-the-national-gallery-alexandros-soutzos-museum/">SNF Wing at the National Gallery - Alexandros Soutzos Museum</a><a href="/web/20190503091934/https://www.snf.org/en/initiatives/other/refugee-crisis-in-greece/">Refugee Crisis in Greece</a><a href="/web/20190503091934/https://www.snf.org/en/initiatives/other/school-support/">School Support</a><a href="/web/20190503091934/https://www.snf.org/en/initiatives/other/pediatric-intensive-care-units/">Pediatric Intensive Care Units</a></div></nav> </aside> <div class="content"> <header> <h1>Mass Media Scholarship Program at Columbia University</h1> </header> <div class="gallery"> <div class="royalSlider videoGallery rsDefault"><a class="rsImg" data-rsvideo="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DKqoPAspPj0" href="https://web.archive.org/web/20190503091934/https://img.youtube.com/vi/DKqoPAspPj0/0.jpg"></a></div> </div> <div class="description"> <p><strong>The Stavros Niarchos Foundation, in collaboration with Columbia Journalism School, establishes a Scholarship Program for Journalists from Greece </strong></p> <p>With the aim of strengthening their vocational training and furthering their education, the SNF supports a Scholarship Program for journalists from Greece. </p> <p>In collaboration with the internationally recognized Columbia Journalism School in New York, the SNF grant will provide an opportunity for up to 18 candidates annually, and for a period of at least three years, to attend specialized training courses in journalism.</p> <p>Scholarships are offered for the following three courses by the Columbia Journalism School:</p> <p><strong>A.</strong> A video production workshop, lasting three weeks </p> <p><strong>B.</strong> An investigative journalism course, lasting three weeks</p> <p><strong>C.</strong> A coding and data analysis course, lasting three months</p> <p>Under the guidance of the expert teaching staff, up to <strong>6 participants per program and per year</strong> will have the opportunity to learn video, investigative and data journalism, gain additional experience, as well as receive a certificate of attendance from the Journalism School at Columbia University. </p> <p>Each scholarship provided by the SNF is a full scholarship and covers, apart from the cost of each program, the costs of accommodation, local transport and lodging for each participant, always according to the duration of each program. </p> <p>The final selection of candidates is at the sole discretion of Columbia University. All programs are taught in English. Participants should have sufficient proficiency in English to participate in the programs. Interested parties are invited to submit the relevant application form, which is posted on Columbia University’s website (the descriptions of individual programs and the related links can be found
