<div class="uw-text-block"> <p>The Cyclotron Research Group in the Department of Medical Physics makes radionuclides for medical diagnosis, disease treatment, and fundamental scientific inquiry. We apply these unique materials to imaging and tracking cancer therapies, monitoring pancreatic beta cells for diabetes relief, developing imaging techniques that can detect nociceptive pain, and studying materials that can contain the molten salt cores of next-generation nuclear reactor designs.
