Within the faculty, research is focused on nanotechnology, biomedical engineering, clinical technology, sustainable energy technology and smart devices. There is a strong collaboration with industrial partners and other national and international research institutes. Research is funded to a large extent by industrial and other external partners, as well as science foundations.
