Therefore, advancements have been made to fill in this gap. Since Robotics covers a wide variety of fields and helps innovation, efforts have been made to promote its education. Despite of the efforts made in Kuwait, robotics education is still on hold. The paper discusses the issues and obstacles in the implementation of robotics education in Kuwait and how a robotics kit “E-Robot” is making an impact in the Kuwait’s future education and innovation. Problems such as robotics competitions rather than education, complexity of robot programming and lack of organized open source platform are being addressed by the introduction of the E-Robot Kit in Kuwait. Due to its success since 2012 a total of 15 schools have accepted the Kit as a core subject, with 200 teaching it as an extracurricular activity. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=robotics%20education" title="robotics education">robotics education</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Kuwait%27s%20education" title=" Kuwait's education"> Kuwait's education</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=e-robot%20kit" title=" e-robot kit"> e-robot kit</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=research%20and%20development" title=" research and development"> research and development</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=innovation%20and%20creativity" title=" innovation and creativity"> innovation and creativity</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/52349/implication-of-e-robot-kit-in-kuwaits-robotics-technology-learning-and-innovation" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/52349.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">417</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">17</span> An Approach for the Assessment of Semi-Elliptical Surface Crack</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Muhammad%20Naweed">Muhammad Naweed</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Usman%20Tariq%20Murtaza"> Usman Tariq Murtaza</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Waseem%20Siddique"> Waseem Siddique</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> A pallet body approach is a finite element-based computational approach used for the modeling and assessment of a three-dimensional surface crack. In this study, Al incorporated Mn<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub> compositions were synthesized to study the effect of Al doping on electrochemical performance of host material. Structural studies were carried out using X-ray diffraction analysis to confirm the phase stability and explore the lattice parameters, crystallite size, lattice strain, density and cell volume. Morphology and composition were analyzed using field emission scanning electron microscope and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, respectively. Dynamic light scattering analysis was performed to observe the average particle size of the compositions. FTIR measurements exhibit the O-Al-O and O-Mn-O and Al-O bonding and with increasing the concentration of Al, the vibrational peaks of Mn-O become sharper. For exchange and correlation potential we used both generalized-gradient approximation (GGA) and local-density approximation (LDA). Our calculated ground state properties like as lattice constants, bulk modulus and elastic constants appear more accurate when we employed the GGA rather than the LDA approximation, and these results agree very well with the available experimental and theoretical data. Further, prediction of the thermal effects on some macroscopic properties of Fe2VAl and Fe2VGa are given in this paper using the quasi-harmonic Debye model in which the lattice vibrations are taken into account. We have obtained successfully the variations of the primitive cell volume, volume expansion coefficient, heat capacities and Debye temperature with pressure and temperature in the ranges of 0–40 GPa and 0–1500 K. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=full%20Heusler" title="full Heusler">full Heusler</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=FP-LAPW" title=" FP-LAPW"> FP-LAPW</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=electronic%20properties" title=" electronic properties"> electronic properties</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=thermal%20properties" title=" thermal properties"> thermal properties</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/14171/ab-initio-study-of-structural-elastic-electronic-and-thermal-properties-of-full-heusler" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/14171.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">494</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">13</span> Ag and Au Nanoparticles Fabrication in Cross-Linked Polymer Microgels for Their Comparative Catalytic Study</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Luqman%20Ali%20Shah">Luqman Ali Shah</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Murtaza%20Sayed"> Murtaza Sayed</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Mohammad%20Siddiq"> Mohammad Siddiq</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Three-dimensional cross-linked polymer microgels with temperature responsive N-isopropyl acrylamide (NIPAM) and pH-sensitive methacrylic acid (MAA) were successfully synthesized by free radical emulsion polymerization with different amount of MAA. Silver and gold nanoparticles with size of 6.5 and 3.5 nm (±0.5 nm) respectively were homogeneously reduced inside these materials by chemical reduction method at pH 2.78 and 8.36 for the preparation of hybrid materials. The samples were characterized by FTIR, DLS and TEM techniques. The catalytic activity of the hybrid materials was investigated for the reduction of 4-nitrophenol (4- NP) using NaBH4 as reducing agent by UV-visible spectroscopy. The hybrid polymer network synthesized at pH 8.36 shows enhanced catalytic efficiency compared to catalysts synthesized at pH 2.78. Therefore, a total of 10 Marshall cakes were prepared with plastic aggregates in addition to a standard pavement sample. In total 33 samples have been tested for Marshall stability, flow and voids in mineral aggregates. The results show an increase in the value when it changes from 2.5 % bitumen to 3 % and after then it goes again toward declination. Thus, 3 % bitumen content has been found as the most optimum value for flexible pavements. Among all the samples, 20 % PP aggregates sample has been found satisfactory with respect to all the standards provided by ASTM. Therefore, it is suggested to use 20 plastic aggregates in flexible pavement construction. A comparison of bearing capacity and skid resistance is also observed. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=marshall%20test" title="marshall test">marshall test</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=polypropylene%20plastic" title=" polypropylene plastic"> polypropylene plastic</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=plastic%20aggregates" title=" plastic aggregates"> plastic aggregates</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=flexible%20pavement%20alternative" title=" flexible pavement alternative"> flexible pavement alternative</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=recycling%20of%20plastic%20waste" title=" recycling of plastic waste"> recycling of plastic waste</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/148528/experimental-assessment-of-polypropylene-plastic-aggregatesppa-for-pavement-construction-their-mechanical-properties-via-marshall-test" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/148528.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">143</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">11</span> Improving Carbon Fiber Structural Battery Performance with Polymer Interface</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Kathleen%20Moyer">Kathleen Moyer</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Nora%20Ait%20Boucherbil"> Nora Ait Boucherbil</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Murtaza%20Zohair"> Murtaza Zohair</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Janna%20Eaves-Rathert"> Janna Eaves-Rathert</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Cary%20Pint"> Cary Pint</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> This study demonstrates the significance of interface engineering in the field of structural energy by being the first case where the performance of the system with the structural battery is greater than the performance of the same system with a battery separate from the system. The benefits of improving the interface in the structural battery were tested by creating carbon fiber composite batteries (and independent graphite electrodes and lithium iron phosphate electrodes) with and without an improved interface. Mechanical data on the structural batteries were collected using tensile tests and electrochemical data was collected using scanning electron microscopy equipment. The full-cell lithium-ion structural batteries had capacity retention of over 80% exceeding 100 cycles with an average energy density of 52 W h kg−1 and a maximum energy density of 58 W h kg−1. Most scientific developments in the field of structural energy have been done with supercapacitors. Most scientific developments with structural batteries have been done where batteries are simply incorporated into the structural element. That method has limited advantages and can create mechanical disadvantages. This study aims to show that a large improvement in structure energy research can be made by improving the interface between the structural device and the battery. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=composite%20materials" title="composite materials">composite materials</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=electrochemical%20performance" title=" electrochemical performance"> electrochemical performance</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=mechanical%20properties" title=" mechanical properties"> mechanical properties</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=polymer%20interface" title=" polymer interface"> polymer interface</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=structural%20batteries" title=" structural batteries"> structural batteries</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/153279/improving-carbon-fiber-structural-battery-performance-with-polymer-interface" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/153279.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">109</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">10</span> Isolation and Identification of Novel Escherichia Marmotae Spp.: Their Enzymatic Biodegradation of Zearalenone and Deep-oxidation of Deoxynivalenol</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Bilal%20Murtaza">Bilal Murtaza</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Xiaoyu%20Li"> Xiaoyu Li</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Liming%20Dong"> Liming Dong</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Muhammad%20Kashif%20Saleemi"> Muhammad Kashif Saleemi</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Gen%20Li"> Gen Li</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Bowen%20Jin"> Bowen Jin</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Lili%20Wang"> Lili Wang</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Yongping%20Xu"> Yongping Xu</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Fusarium spp. produce numerous mycotoxins, such as zearalenone (ZEN), deoxynivalenol (DON), and its acetylated compounds, 3-acetyl-deoxynivalenol (3-ADON) and 15-acetyl-deoxynivalenol (15-ADON) (15-ADON). In a co-culture system, the soil-derived Escherichia marmotae strain degrades ZEN and DON into 3-keto-DON and DOM-1 via enzymatic deep-oxidation. When pure mycotoxins were subjected to Escherichia marmotae in culture flasks, degradation, and detoxification were also attained. DON and ZEN concentrations, ambient pH, incubation temperatures, bacterium concentrations, and the impact of acid treatment on degradation were all evaluated. The results of the ELISA and high-performance liquid chromatography-electrospray ionization-high resolution mass spectrometry (HPLC-ESI-HRMS) tests demonstrated that the concentration of mycotoxins exposed to Escherichia marmotae was significantly lower than the control. ZEN levels were reduced by 43.9%, while zearalenone sulfate ([M/z 397.1052 C18H21O8S1) was discovered as a derivative of ZEN converted by microbes to a less toxic molecule. Furthermore, Escherichia marmotae appeared to metabolize DON 35.10% into less toxic derivatives (DOM-1 at m/z 281 of [DON - O]+ and 3-keto-DON at m/z 295 of [DON - 2H]+). These results show that Escherichia marmotae can reduce Fusarium mycotoxins production, degrade pure mycotoxins, and convert them to less harmful compounds, opening up new possibilities for study and innovation in mycotoxin detoxification. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=mycotoxins" title="mycotoxins">mycotoxins</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=zearalenone" title=" zearalenone"> zearalenone</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=deoxynivalenol" title=" deoxynivalenol"> deoxynivalenol</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=bacterial%20degradation" title=" bacterial degradation"> bacterial degradation</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/163980/isolation-and-identification-of-novel-escherichia-marmotae-spp-their-enzymatic-biodegradation-of-zearalenone-and-deep-oxidation-of-deoxynivalenol" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/163980.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">99</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">9</span> Serotype Distribution and Demographics of Dengue Patients in a Tertiary Hospital of Lahore, Pakistan During the 2011 Epidemic</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Muhammad%20Munir">Muhammad Munir</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Riffat%20Mehboob"> Riffat Mehboob</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Samina%20Naeem"> Samina Naeem</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Muhammad%20Salman"> Muhammad Salman</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Shehryar%20Ahmed"> Shehryar Ahmed</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Irshad%20Hussain%20Qureshi"> Irshad Hussain Qureshi</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Tahira%20Murtaza%20Cheema"> Tahira Murtaza Cheema</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Ashraf%20Sultan"> Ashraf Sultan</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Akmal%20Laeeq"> Akmal Laeeq</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Nakhshab%20Choudhry"> Nakhshab Choudhry</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Asad%20Aslam%20Khan"> Asad Aslam Khan</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Fridoon%20Jawad%20Ahmad"> Fridoon Jawad Ahmad</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> A dengue outbreak in Lahore, Pakistan during 2011 was unprecedented in terms of severity and magnitude. This research aims to determine the serotype distribution of dengue virus during this outbreak and classify the patients demographically. 5ml of venous blood was drawn aseptically from 166 patients with dengue-like signs to test for the virus between the months of August to November 2011. The samples were sent to the CDC, Atlanta, Georgia for the purpose of molecular assays to determine their serotype. RT-PCR protocol was performed targeting at the 4 dengue serotypes. Out of 166 cases, dengue infection was detected with RT-PCR in 95 cases, all infected with same serotype DEN-2. 75% of positive cases were males while 25% were females. Most positive patients were in the age range of 16-30 years. 33% positive cases had accompanying bleeding. This is first study during the 2011 dengue epidemic in Lahore that reports DEN-2 as the only prevalent serotype. It also indicates that more infected patients were males, adults, within age range of 16-30 years, peaked in the month of November, Dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) is manifested more in females, Ravi town was heavily hit by dengue virus infection. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=dengue" title="dengue">dengue</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=serotypes" title=" serotypes"> serotypes</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Pakistan" title=" Pakistan"> Pakistan</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=DEN%202" title=" DEN 2"> DEN 2</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Lahore" title=" Lahore"> Lahore</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=demography" title=" demography"> demography</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=serotype%20distrbution" title=" serotype distrbution"> serotype distrbution</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=2011%20epidemic" title=" 2011 epidemic "> 2011 epidemic </a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/1935/serotype-distribution-and-demographics-of-dengue-patients-in-a-tertiary-hospital-of-lahore-pakistan-during-the-2011-epidemic" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/1935.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">500</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">8</span> Enhanced Magnetoelastic Response near Morphotropic Phase Boundary in Ferromagnetic Materials: Experimental and Theoretical Analysis</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Murtaza%20Adil">Murtaza Adil</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Sen%20Yang"> Sen Yang</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Zhou%20Chao"> Zhou Chao</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Song%20Xiaoping"> Song Xiaoping</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> The morphotropic phase boundary (MPB) recently has attracted constant interest in ferromagnetic systems for obtaining enhanced large magnetoelastic response. In the present study, structural and magnetoelastic properties of MPB involved ferromagnetic Tb<sub>1-x</sub>Gd<sub>x</sub>Fe<sub>2</sub> (0≤x≤1) system has been investigated. The change of easy magnetic direction from <111> to <100> with increasing x up MPB composition of x=0.9 is detected by step-scanned [440] synchrotron X-ray diffraction reflections. The Gd substitution for Tb changes the composition for the anisotropy compensation near MPB composition of x=0.9, which was confirmed by the analysis of detailed scanned XRD, magnetization curves and the calculation of the first anisotropy constant <em>K</em><sub>1</sub>. The spin configuration diagram accompanied with different crystal structures for Tb<sub>1-x</sub>Gd<sub>x</sub>Fe<sub>2</sub> was designed. The calculated first anisotropy constant <em>K</em><sub>1</sub> shows a minimum value at MPB composition of x=0.9. In addition, the large ratio between magnetostriction, and the absolute values of the first anisotropy constant │λ<sub>S</sub>∕K<sub>1</sub>│ appears at MPB composition, which makes it a potential material for magnetostrictive application. Based on experimental results, a theoretically approach was also proposed to signify that the facilitated magnetization rotation and enhanced magnetoelastic effect near MPB composition are a consequence of the anisotropic flattening of free energy of ferromagnetic crystal. Our work specifies the universal existence of MPB in ferromagnetic materials which is important for substantial improvement of magnetic and magnetostrictive properties and may provide a new route to develop advanced functional materials. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=free%20energy" title="free energy">free energy</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=magnetic%20anisotropy" title=" magnetic anisotropy"> magnetic anisotropy</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=magnetostriction" title=" magnetostriction"> magnetostriction</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=morphotropic%20phase%20boundary%20%28MPB%29" title=" morphotropic phase boundary (MPB)"> morphotropic phase boundary (MPB)</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/53935/enhanced-magnetoelastic-response-near-morphotropic-phase-boundary-in-ferromagnetic-materials-experimental-and-theoretical-analysis" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/53935.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">275</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">7</span> GIS Based Public Transport Accessibility of Lahore using PTALs Model</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Naveed%20Chughtai">Naveed Chughtai</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Salman%20Atif"> Salman Atif</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Azhar%20Ali%20Taj"> Azhar Ali Taj</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Murtaza%20Asghar%20Bukhari"> Murtaza Asghar Bukhari</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Accessible transport systems play a crucial role in infrastructure management and ease of access to destinations. Thus, the necessity of knowledge of service coverage and service deprived areas is a prerequisite for devising policies. Integration of PTALs model with GIS network analysis models (Service Area Analysis, Closest Facility Analysis) facilitates the analysis of deprived areas. In this research, models presented determine the accessibility. The empirical evidence suggests that current bus network system caters only 18.5% of whole population. Using network analysis results as inputs for PTALs, it is seen that excellent accessibility indexed bands cover a limited areas, while 78.8% of area is totally deprived of any service. To cater the unserved catchment, new route alignments are proposed while keeping in focus the Socio-economic characteristics, land-use type and net population density of the deprived area. Change in accessibility with proposed routes show a 10% increment in service delivery and enhancement in terms of served population is up to 20.4%. PTALs result shows a decrement of 60 Km2 in unserved band. The result of this study can be used for planning, transport infrastructure management, allocation of new route alignments in combination with future land-use development and for adequate spatial distribution of service access points. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=GIS" title="GIS">GIS</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=public%20transport%20accessibility" title=" public transport accessibility"> public transport accessibility</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=PTALs" title=" PTALs"> PTALs</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=accessibility%20index" title=" accessibility index"> accessibility index</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=service%20area%20analysis" title=" service area analysis"> service area analysis</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=closest%20facility%20analysis" title=" closest facility analysis"> closest facility analysis</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/27795/gis-based-public-transport-accessibility-of-lahore-using-ptals-model" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/27795.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">438</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">6</span> Comparative Study of Gonadotropin Hormones and Sperm Parameters in Two Age Groups</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=G.%20Murtaza">G. A total of one hundred and twenty men (age: 20–50 years) were divided into two groups; each group contained 60 males (Group A with a young age of 20–35 years and Group B with an older age of 36–50 years) who visited the Center for Reproductive Medicine (CRM) in Peshawar General Hospital (PGH) Peshawar, Pakistan. Clinical assessment and sperm analysis were investigated. Hormone testing and semen analysis were carried out in accordance with World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines. Hormone tests, sperm morphology, and the total motile spermatozoa count (TMS) were computed. SPSS 20.0 (SPSS Inc., Chicago, IL, USA) was used for the statistical analysis. It was observed that the testosterone levels in Group A (mean = 3.770) and Group B (mean = 3.995) were comparable, with a significant P-value <0.005 in both age groups. Furthermore, similar levels are shown by follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) (Group A mean = 19.73, Group B mean = 15.64) and luteinizing hormone (LH) (Group A mean = 12.25, Group B mean = 11.93) in both groups, with a significant P = <0.005. Sperm concentrations were most similar in Group A, with a mean of 4.44, and in Group B, with a mean of 4.42 and a significant P value of 0.005 in both groups. Additionally, it was discovered that sperm motility was higher in Group A, with a mean of 22.40 and a P-value of 0.052, which was non-significant when compared to Group B. Morphological differences were also observed in both age groups. This research found that advancing in male age does not affect sex hormone regulation; in contrast, the fraction of motile and morphologically normal spermatozoa decreases as male age increases, with the strongest evidence being when the age exceeds 40 years. To clarify the causes and clinical implications of these correlations, more research is necessary. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=gonadotropins" title="gonadotropins">gonadotropins</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=motility" title=" motility"> motility</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=spermatozoa" title=" spermatozoa"> spermatozoa</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=testosterone" title=" testosterone"> testosterone</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/188991/comparative-study-of-gonadotropin-hormones-and-sperm-parameters-in-two-age-groups" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/188991.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">32</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">5</span> Similarity Solutions of Nonlinear Stretched Biomagnetic Flow and Heat Transfer with Signum Function and Temperature Power Law Geometries</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=M.%20G.%20Murtaza">M. Bio fluid dynamics is directed towards finding and developing the solutions to some of the human body related diseases and disorders. This article describes the flow and heat transfer of two dimensional, steady, laminar, viscous and incompressible biomagnetic fluid over a non-linear stretching sheet in the presence of magnetic dipole. Our model is consistent with blood fluid namely biomagnetic fluid dynamics (BFD). This model based on the principles of ferrohydrodynamic (FHD). The temperature at the stretching surface is assumed to follow a power law variation, and stretching velocity is assumed to have a nonlinear form with signum function or sign function. The governing boundary layer equations with boundary conditions are simplified to couple higher order equations using usual transformations. Numerical solutions for the governing momentum and energy equations are obtained by efficient numerical techniques based on the common finite difference method with central differencing, on a tridiagonal matrix manipulation and on an iterative procedure. Computations are performed for a wide range of the governing parameters such as magnetic field parameter, power law exponent temperature parameter, and other involved parameters and the effect of these parameters on the velocity and temperature field is presented. It is observed that for different values of the magnetic parameter, the velocity distribution decreases while temperature distribution increases. Besides, the finite difference solutions results for skin-friction coefficient and rate of heat transfer are discussed. This study will have an important bearing on a high targeting efficiency, a high magnetic field is required in the targeted body compartment. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=biomagnetic%20fluid" title="biomagnetic fluid">biomagnetic fluid</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=FHD" title=" FHD"> FHD</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=MHD" title=" MHD"> MHD</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=nonlinear%20stretching%20sheet" title=" nonlinear stretching sheet"> nonlinear stretching sheet</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/85971/similarity-solutions-of-nonlinear-stretched-biomagnetic-flow-and-heat-transfer-with-signum-function-and-temperature-power-law-geometries" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/85971.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">161</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">4</span> Nabokov’s Lolita: Externalization of Contemporary Mind in the Configuration of Hedonistic Aesthetics</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Saima%20Murtaza">Saima Murtaza</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Ethics and aesthetics have invariably remained the two closely integrated artistic appurtenances for the production of any work of art. These artistic devices configure themselves into a complex synthesis in our contemporary literature. The labyrinthine integration of ethics and aesthetics, operating in the lives of human characters, to the extent of transcending all limits has resulted in an artistic puzzle for the readers. Art, no doubt, is an extrinsic expression of the intrinsic life of man. The use of aesthetics in literature pertaining to human existence; aesthetic solipsism, has resulted in the artistic objectification of these characters. The practice of the like aestheticism deprives the characters of their souls, rendering them as mere objects of aesthetic gaze at the hands of their artists-creators. Artists orchestrate their lives founding it on a plot which deviates from normal social and ethical standards. Their perverse attitude can be seen in dealing with characters, their feelings and the incidents of their lives. Morality is made to appear not as a religious construct but as an individual’s private affair. Furthermore, the idea of beauty incarnated, in other words hedonistic aesthetic does not placate a true aesthete. Ethics and aesthetics are the two most recurring motifs of our contemporary literature, especially of Nabokov’s world. The purpose of this study is to peruse these aforementioned motifs in Nabokov’s most enigmatic novel Lolita, a story of pedophilia, which is in fact reflective of our complex individual psychic and societal patterns. The narrative subverts all the traditional and hitherto known notions of aesthetics and ethics. When applied to literature, aesthetic does not simply mean ‘beautiful’ in the text. It refers to an intricate relationship between feelings and perception and also incorporates within its range wide-ranging emotional reactions to text. The term aesthetics in literature is connected with the readers whose critical responses to the text determine the merit of any work to be really a piece of art. Aestheticism is the child of ethics. Morality sets the grounds for the production of any work and the idea of aesthetics gives it transcendence. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=ethics" title="ethics">ethics</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=aesthetics%20and%20hedonistic%20aesthetic" title=" aesthetics and hedonistic aesthetic"> aesthetics and hedonistic aesthetic</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=nymphet%20syndrome" title=" nymphet syndrome"> nymphet syndrome</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=pedophilia" title=" pedophilia"> pedophilia</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/98933/nabokovs-lolita-externalization-of-contemporary-mind-in-the-configuration-of-hedonistic-aesthetics" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/98933.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">158</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">3</span> Therapeutic Effect of Indane 1,3-Dione Derivatives in the Restoration of Insulin Resistance in Human Liver Cells and in Db/Db Mice Model: Biochemical, Physiological and Molecular Insights of Investigation</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Gulnaz%20Khan">Gulnaz Khan</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Meha%20F.%20Aftab"> Meha F. AGEs have pathogenic implication in several diseases including diabetes. Existing AGEs inhibitors are not in clinical use, and there is a need for development of novel inhibitors. The present investigation aimed at identifying the novel AGEs inhibitors and assessing their mechanism of action for treating insulin resistance in mice model of diabetes. Novel derivatives of benzylidene of indan-1,3-dione were synthesized. The compounds were selected to study their action mechanism in improving insulin resistance, in vitro, in human hepatocytes and murine adipocytes and then, in vivo, in mice genetic model of diabetes (db/db). Mice were treated with novel derivatives of benzylidene of indane 1,3-dione. AGEs mediated ROS production was measured by dihydroethidium fluorescence assay. AGEs level in the serum of treated mice was observed by ELISA. Gene expression of receptor for AGEs (RAGE), PPAR-gamma, TNF-alpha and GLUT-4 was evaluated by RT-PCR. Glucose uptake was measured by fluorescent method. Microscopy was used to analyze glycogen synthesis in muscle. Among several derivatives of benzylidene of indan-1,3-dione, IDD-24, demonstrated highest inhibition of AGESs. IDD-24 significantly reduced AGEs formation and expression of receptor for advanced glycation end products (RAGE) in fat, liver of db/db mice. Suppression of AGEs mediated ROS production was also observed in hepatocytes and fat cell, after treatment with IDD-24. Glycogen synthesis was increased in muscle tissue of mice treated with IDD-24. In adipocytes, IDD-24 prevented AGEs induced reduced glucose uptake. Mice treated with IDD-24 exhibited increased glucose tolerance, serum adiponectin levels and decreased insulin resistance. The result of present study suggested that IDD-24 can be a possible treatment target to address glycotoxins induced insulin resistance. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=advance%20glycation%20end%20product" title="advance glycation end product">advance glycation end product</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=hyperglycemia" title=" hyperglycemia"> hyperglycemia</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=indan-1" title=" indan-1"> indan-1</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=3-dione" title="3-dione">3-dione</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=insulin%20resistance" title=" insulin resistance"> insulin resistance</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/81068/therapeutic-effect-of-indane-13-dione-derivatives-in-the-restoration-of-insulin-resistance-in-human-liver-cells-and-in-dbdb-mice-model-biochemical-physiological-and-molecular-insights-of-investigation" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/81068.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">158</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">2</span> Conversational Assistive Technology of Visually Impaired Person for Social Interaction</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Komal%20Ghafoor">Komal Ghafoor</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Tauqir%20Ahmad"> Tauqir Ahmad</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Murtaza%20Hanif"> Murtaza Hanif</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Hira%20Zaheer"> Hira Zaheer</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Assistive technology has been developed to support visually impaired people in their social interactions. Conversation assistive technology is designed to enhance communication skills, facilitate social interaction, and improve the quality of life of visually impaired individuals. This technology includes speech recognition, text-to-speech features, and other communication devices that enable users to communicate with others in real time. The technology uses natural language processing and machine learning algorithms to analyze spoken language and provide appropriate responses. It also includes features such as voice commands and audio feedback to provide users with a more immersive experience. These technologies have been shown to increase the confidence and independence of visually impaired individuals in social situations and have the potential to improve their social skills and relationships with others. Overall, conversation-assistive technology is a promising tool for empowering visually impaired people and improving their social interactions. One of the key benefits of conversation-assistive technology is that it allows visually impaired individuals to overcome communication barriers that they may face in social situations. It can help them to communicate more effectively with friends, family, and colleagues, as well as strangers in public spaces. By providing a more seamless and natural way to communicate, this technology can help to reduce feelings of isolation and improve overall quality of life. The main objective of this research is to give blind users the capability to move around in unfamiliar environments through a user-friendly device by face, object, and activity recognition system. This model evaluates the accuracy of activity recognition. This device captures the front view of the blind, detects the objects, recognizes the activities, and answers the blind query. It is implemented using the front view of the camera. The local dataset is collected that includes different 1st-person human activities. The results obtained are the identification of the activities that the VGG-16 model was trained on, where Hugging, Shaking Hands, Talking, Walking, Waving video, etc. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=dataset" title="dataset">dataset</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=visually%20impaired%20person" title=" visually impaired person"> visually impaired person</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=natural%20language%20process" title=" natural language process"> natural language process</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=human%20activity%20recognition" title=" human activity recognition"> human activity recognition</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/175724/conversational-assistive-technology-of-visually-impaired-person-for-social-interaction" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/175724.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">58</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">1</span> Morphotropic Phase Boundary in Ferromagnets: Unusual Magnetoelastic Behavior In Tb₁₋ₓNdₓCo₂</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Adil%20Murtaza">Adil Murtaza</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Muhammad%20Tahir%20Khan"> Muhammad Tahir Khan</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Awais%20Ghani"> Awais Ghani</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Chao%20Zhou"> Chao Zhou</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Sen%20Yang"> Sen Yang</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Xiaoping%20Song"> Xiaoping Song</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> The morphotropic phase boundary (MPB); a boundary between two different crystallographic symmetries in the composition–temperature phase diagram has been widely studied in ferroelectrics and recently has drawn interest in ferromagnets for obtaining enhanced large field-induced strain. At MPB, the system gets a compressed free energy state, which allows the polarization to freely rotate and hence results in a high magnetoelastic response (e.g., high magnetization, low coercivity, and large magnetostriction). Based on the same mechanism, we designed MPB in a ferromagnetic Tb₁₋ₓNdₓCo₂ system. The temperature-dependent magnetization curves showed spin reorientation (SR); which can be explained by a two-sublattice model. Contrary to previously reported MPB involved ferromagnetic systems, the MPB composition of Tb₀.₃₅Nd₀.₆₅Co₂ exhibits a low saturation magnetization (MS), indicating a compensation of the Tb and Nd magnetic moments at MPB. The coercive field (HC) under a low magnetic field and first anisotropy constant (K₁) shows a minimum value at MPB composition of x=0.65. A detailed spin configuration diagram is provided for the Tb₁₋ₓNdₓCo₂ around the composition for the anisotropy compensation; this can guide the development of novel magnetostrictive materials. The anisotropic magnetostriction (λS) first decreased until x=0.8 and then continuously increased in the negative direction with further increase of Nd concentration. In addition, the large ratio between magnetostriction and the absolute values of the first anisotropy constant (λS/K₁) appears at MPB, indicating that Tb₀.₃₅Nd₀.₆₅Co₂ has good magnetostrictive properties. Present work shows an anomalous type of MPB in ferromagnetic materials, revealing that MPB can also lead to a weakening of magnetoelastic behavior as shown in the ferromagnetic Tb₁₋ₓNdₓCo₂ system. Our work shows the universal presence of MPB in ferromagnetic materials and suggests the differences between different ferromagnetic MPB systems that are important for substantial improvement of magnetic and magnetostrictive properties. Based on the results of this study, similar MPB effects might be achieved in other ferroic systems that can be used for technological applications. The finding of magnetic MPB in the ferromagnetic system leads to some important significances. First, it provides a better understanding of the fundamental concept of spin reorientation transitions (SRT) like ferro-ferro transitions are not only reorientation of magnetization but also crystal symmetry change upon magnetic ordering. Second, the flattened free energy corresponding to a low energy barrier for magnetization rotation and enhanced magnetoelastic response near MPB. Third, to attain large magnetostriction with MPB approach two terminal compounds have different easy magnetization directions below Curie temperature Tc in order to accomplish the weakening of magnetization anisotropy at MPB (as in ferroelectrics), thus easing the magnetic domain switching and the lattice distortion difference between two terminal compounds should be large enough, e.g., lattice distortion of R symmetry ˃˃ lattice distortion of T symmetry). So that the MPB composition agrees to a nearly isotropic state along with large ‘net’ lattice distortion, which is revealed in a higher value of magnetostriction. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=magnetization" title="magnetization">magnetization</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=magnetostriction" title=" magnetostriction"> magnetostriction</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=morphotropic%20phase%20boundary%20%28MPB%29" title=" morphotropic phase boundary (MPB)"> morphotropic phase boundary (MPB)</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=phase%20transition" title=" phase transition"> phase transition</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/95289/morphotropic-phase-boundary-in-ferromagnets-unusual-magnetoelastic-behavior-in-tb1ndco2" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/95289.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">146</span> </span> </div> </div> </div> </main> <footer> <div id="infolinks" class="pt-3 pb-2"> <div class="container"> <div style="background-color:#f5f5f5;" class="p-3"> <div class="row"> <div class="col-md-2"> <ul class="list-unstyled"> About <li><a href="https://waset.org/page/support">About Us</a></li> <li><a href="https://waset.org/page/support#legal-information">Legal</a></li> <li><a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="https://publications.waset.org/static/files/WASET-16th-foundational-anniversary.pdf">WASET celebrates its 16th foundational anniversary</a></li> </ul> </div> <div class="col-md-2"> <ul class="list-unstyled"> Account <li><a href="https://waset.org/profile">My Account</a></li> </ul> </div> <div class="col-md-2"> <ul class="list-unstyled"> Explore <li><a href="https://waset.org/disciplines">Disciplines</a></li> <li><a href="https://waset.org/conferences">Conferences</a></li> <li><a href="https://waset.org/conference-programs">Conference Program</a></li> <li><a href="https://waset.org/committees">Committees</a></li> <li><a href="https://publications.waset.org">Publications</a></li> </ul> </div> <div class="col-md-2"> <ul class="list-unstyled"> Research <li><a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts">Abstracts</a></li> <li><a href="https://publications.waset.org">Periodicals</a></li> <li><a href="https://publications.waset.org/archive">Archive</a></li> </ul> </div> <div class="col-md-2"> <ul class="list-unstyled"> Open Science <li><a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="https://publications.waset.org/static/files/Open-Science-Philosophy.pdf">Open Science Philosophy</a></li> <li><a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="https://publications.waset.org/static/files/Open-Science-Award.pdf">Open Science Award</a></li> <li><a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="https://publications.waset.org/static/files/Open-Society-Open-Science-and-Open-Innovation.pdf">Open Innovation</a></li> <li><a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="https://publications.waset.org/static/files/Postdoctoral-Fellowship-Award.pdf">Postdoctoral Fellowship Award</a></li> <li><a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="https://publications.waset.org/static/files/Scholarly-Research-Review.pdf">Scholarly Research Review</a></li> </ul> </div> <div class="col-md-2"> <ul class="list-unstyled"> Support <li><a href="https://waset.org/page/support">Support</a></li> <li><a href="https://waset.org/profile/messages/create">Contact Us</a></li> <li><a href="https://waset.org/profile/messages/create">Report Abuse</a></li> </ul> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> <div class="container text-center"> <hr style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:.3rem;"> <a href="https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/" target="_blank" class="text-muted small">Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License</a> <div id="copy" class="mt-2">© 2024 World Academy of Science, Engineering and Technology</div> </div> </footer> <a href="javascript:" id="return-to-top"><i class="fas fa-arrow-up"></i></a> <div class="modal" id="modal-template"> <div class="modal-dialog"> <div class="modal-content"> <div class="row m-0 mt-1"> <div class="col-md-12"> <button type="button" class="close" data-dismiss="modal" aria-label="Close"><span aria-hidden="true">×</span></button> </div> </div> <div class="modal-body"></div> </div> </div> </div> <script src="https://cdn.waset.org/static/plugins/jquery-3.3.1.min.js"></script> <script src="https://cdn.waset.org/static/plugins/bootstrap-4.2.1/js/bootstrap.bundle.min.js"></script> <script src="https://cdn.waset.org/static/js/site.js?v=150220211556"></script> <script> jQuery(document).ready(function() { /*jQuery.get("https://publications.waset.org/xhr/user-menu", function (response) { jQuery('#mainNavMenu').append(response);
