Siao (Isole Sanghir) (MEYER).</p> <p class='gtxt_body' style='text-indent:1em;'>Io ho esaminato uno dei tipi di questa specie, esistente nella collezione del Conte TURATI, e da questi comunicatomi.</p> <p class='gtxt_body' style='text-indent:1em;'>II MEYER descrive i maschi giovani che mostrano il passaggio dall'abito delle femmine a quello dei maschi; essi hanno alcune piume del pileo verdi-dorate, le piume laterali della gola metalliche, come anche il sopraccoda e parte del groppone e delle cuopritrici delle ali.
