She sits in the Division of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Work at the University of Manchester. Hannah is using a range of evidence synthesis methods to investigate health inequalities and the wider determinants of health, with a particular focus on the effects of public sector policy and health and social care interventions. </p> <p>In August 2024, Hannah also began an Open Research Fellowship at the University of Manchester. She is developing a reporting guideline for Data Notes of qualitative health and social care research datasets (the D'NOTE study).</p> <p>Before this, Hannah completed her PhD in Health Psychology at the Manchester Centre for Health Psychology. Hannah used systematic review and qualitative methods to investigate the psychological impact of false positive screening test results on women in the NHS Breast Screening Programme. Hannah's PhD was funded by NIHR Manchester Biomedical Research Centre and the University of Manchester. </p> <p>Prior to her PhD, Hannah completed her BSc (Hons) Psychology (with International Study) and her MSc Health Psychology at the University of Manchester.
