You will have about 1 week or so before the sign ups are closed. Make sure you click the box "Want to play next season" in "Edit clan details" on your clan page.<br/> <br/> frG, BOB_SLAYER and myself have been working hard now for about two months with the new layout of ENSL- and I have to say that I'm really pleased with it. Kudos to Mike who created the original layout which was re-made for ENSL. I hope you enjoy it.<br/> <br/> As we explained in our earlier posts- we are going to have prizes this season. You can find out what kind of prizes in the ENSL Season Site Menu. We also had a new type of system, but it turned out that clans wouldn't be able to play as many matches so we went back to the old one.<br/> <br/> So what's new? A LOT actually, but lets talk about the biggest changes.<br/> <br/> <b>ENSL Seasons:</b><br/> <br/> The Divisions have been renamed and there are now four different divisions instead of three. Premier League, 2nd Division, 3rd Division and our latest, Beginners Division. The fourth division is basically made for farm teams and "new to NS" clans/players that wants to have some equally skilled matches. A small side note: Divisions will be made after we have the full clan list, so start making some clans! The sooner you do- the sooner we can start playing! :-)<br/> <br/> <b>ENSL Combat Ladder: </b><br/> <br/> This is our latest project after the NSCC (Natural Selection Combat Cup) that was played twice during the inactivity of ENSL Seasons. This is a 3 vs 3 player Combat Ladder with a point system that will be running alongside with normal ENSL Seasons and ending around the same time. Anyone is free to create a new team, but the maximum number of players per team is five. There is a whole new system of challenging clans which you can read about in the Combat Rules section.<br/> <br/> <b>Match Calendar:</b><br/> <br/> We have implemented a new function on the right menu called Match Calendar. This is where you will find all your booked/challenged/waiting/accepted matches of ENSL Seasons and also<br/> ENSL Combat Ladder. The dates are colored as orange for challenges and green for accepted matches.<br/> <br/> <b>Other:</b><br/> <br/> We now have our own website chat, where you can talk to whoever is viewing the site. There are also many articles & guides on how to play NS, customizations with marine/alien huds, crosshairs, scripts, movies, interviews; but maybe most interesting is that we have an active Shoutcast team that is going to broadcast the finals of each division. <br/> <br/> If you thought NS was dead think again! This cup is an elimination cup and gives you two chances to reach the finals thanks to our bracket system that contains Upper and Lower bracket. Things have been working OK this season, but the mop-up-week and such has contributed to the bad part with lots delays and so on. These are all issues we have had in mind when we started working on season 5. <br/> <br/> <b><u>UPDATE:</u><br/> The finals of season 4 will be played this thursday, 15 June at 19.00 CEST between knifegaming and epic. Make sure you are here to experience it or download the demos later.</b><br/> <br/> <b><u>UPDATE 2:</u><br/> Knife won 4-0 against Epic, jeje.</b><br/> <br/> Now onto some more exciting stuff. A brand new season 5 will take place around early september, where we will be introducing a new division system into ensl. To correspond with the new system we have made some changes to the rules which will be published along with the changes on the website in due time. I won't go into any detail about the system yet, all I can say is be patient and don't forget to stay on IRC with us.<br/> <br/> The biggest news is that we are implementing prizes for the next season thanks to our sponsors. All the champions of every divisions will recieve prizes, that includes the lowest divisions too. So make sure your team is ready to play when we launch! There will follow a special page for prizes with rules and information about how to recieve and win them. We will also try to include prizes for the 2nd placed team in each division, even though it won't be as grand as the winner. You will be able to read about all of this on the same page as the main prizes.<br/> <br/> With that said, we still have some waiting to do before season 5 starts. So, in the meantime, ENSL will be hosting a 3on3 combat cup open for anyone to sign up. Don't fear though, some more NS Night Cups to warm the teams up before next season is not far away.
