We want the Message Center to be a friendly place where members can learn and interact with the site's star.</p> <p>The rules for the Message Center are as follows:</p> <h3>No Personal Information:</h3> <p>Due to the age of some of the site stars and the community participants, there is a zero tolerance policy for requests for instant messenger handles, email addresses, phone numbers, or other personally identifying or invasive means to communicate. This also extends to fans leaving information. Do not leave your email address, phone number, instant messenger name or anything else that could be used to contact you by someone without your consent.</p> <h3>Right to Privacy:</h3> <p>Considering the nature of our site stars, you must respect the right for a star to draw the lines on what sort of questions are inappropriate. Asking about personal relationships or other things appropriate for a gossip magazine is probably off limits. This also includes you posting things that would be considered Invasion of Privacy by law, such as posting social security numbers or other private information, and private means of communication.</p> <h3>No Profanity:</h3> <p>Our audience is varied and there should be a general sensibility of what is or what is not appropriate. Let's keep the message board family friendly. This also extends to the choice of avatars. Attempts to circumvent the word filters (such as using a $ for an s) will be treated as using the intended profanity.</p> <h3>No Advertising:</h3> <p>Advertising or soliciting other members to buy or sell products is not permitted.</p> <h3>No Jerks:</h3> <p>Do not post anything that is defamatory, illegal, abusive, explicit, threatening or harassing. This includes sexual content, racial, political, and nationalistic disruptions. Illegal posts could include copyright violations, libel or slanderous comments. This also extends to the choice of avatars.</p> <h3>One Post Per Site Per Day:</h3> <p>To constrain fan-to-fan communication and prevent post pumping, we've instituted a once per 24 hour post system.</p> <h3>One Account Per Person:</h3> <p>One Account Per Person To ensure fairness on post counts and contests, as well as to minimize account problems, we ask that you only create one account. As an addendum, since the IP Address is the identifier for punishments, if a family member breaks a rule, it is possible that other members will also be blocked. This could apply to issues at schools or other networks.</p> <h3>No Guarantees:</h3> <p>There are no guarantees that your posts will be responded to. Please don't repeatedly post asking to be answered because that is disruptive.</p> <h3>Studios Rights</h3> <p>Because of contracts, it is often inappropriate for a star to have information on their site prior to the official release of that information from a studio. Simple questions will likely be removed.</p> <h3>English Only</h3> <p>Because we are a US Based Company, we must ask that posts be in English only since we can not moderate posts in foreign languages. Although some of us are multi-lingual, including the stars themselves, we can not provide the level of service in a non-English language. For those of you using a translator program, keep in mind that they are not perfect and your post may accidentally violate one of our rules, or just be funny.</p> <hr/> <h3>Repercussions</h3> <p>Failure to abide by these rules can result in the editing or deleting of posts, official warnings, and temporary or permanent banning without warning. Posting "why was my post edited/deleted?" will only make matters worse, so please don't.</p> <p>Should you accrue offenses (we have a warning tracker) and you continue to break the rules, your account may be temporarily or permanently banned based on the deliberateness or seriousness of your posts. We have a very low threshold for people who have not read the rules. Ignorance is no excuse.</p> <p>Illegal posts may be turned over to the authorities along with IP Addresses and any other information we have available.</p> <hr/> <h3>Suggestions</h3> <p>1. Use common sense. Anything that you post could have consequences for you, the community, or the star of the site.<br/> 2. Always be civil and courteous. The Message Center is visited by people of all ages, genders, races and countries.<br/> 3. Check the Star's FAQ for answers to frequently asked questions. He or she doesn’t generally answer the same question more than once.<br/> 4.
