It covers all of University Park, most of Highland Park and some parts of Dallas.</p> <p>Prior to Highland Park ISD, Orr held the top job at Pampa ISD and Wichita Falls ISD.</p> <p>“I have been honored by the opportunity to work with you in this exceptional district,” he said in the announcement. “Each day over the last six years, I have drawn inspiration from the students, parents, community, and countless dedicated educational professionals who give their best to the children we serve together.”</p> <p>In the email, he thanked parents, teachers and trustees and said “it is time for a new chapter in my life and career.”</p> <p>Starting in the fall, Orr will serve as a clinical professor at SMU’s Simmons School of Education and Human Development.
