The thermally grown SiO₂ layer on silicon wafer act as a substrate. The critical parameters, such as photosensitivity, responsivity and detectivity, are comparatively high and were 3.09, 0.98AW⁻¹ and 4.86 × 10¹⁰ Jones, respectively, under a bias of 5 V and a monochromatic illumination intensity of 4mW cm⁻². The photodetector has a linear I-V curve with a low dark current. On comparing photoresponse of copper phthalocyanine at four different wavelengths, 560 nm shows better photoresponse and the highest value of photosensitivity is also obtained. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=photodetector" title="photodetector">photodetector</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=responsivity" title=" responsivity"> responsivity</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=photosensitivity" title=" photosensitivity"> photosensitivity</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=detectivity" title=" detectivity"> detectivity</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/88804/influence-of-wavelengths-on-photosensitivity-of-copper-phthalocyanine-based-photodetectors" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/88804.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">178</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">2</span> Political Economy of Development Induced Re-Territorialization: A South African Uppercut</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=K.%20Lekshmi">K. In this pretext, post-Apartheid regime initiated land reconciliation measures which presume to overcome the politically appropriated historical injustices in conjunction with reconstructing transitional justice. As land grabs became one of the quintessential repercussions followed by ethnic cleansing in South Africa, it is prominent to study how land reconciliation becomes necessary in imparting transitional justice to the victims. The study also looks into the nature of developmental pattern after re- territorialization process in a post-conflict country like South Africa and, tries to look how re-territorialization process construed the functional distribution of income vis-a-vis income inequality in particular. Further the paper attempts to study how far land distribution and equal access as part of the land reconciliation process juxtaposed the principle of restitution. Research methodology applied is empirical followed by analytical research. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=development" title="development">development</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=land%20reconciliation" title=" land reconciliation"> land reconciliation</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=transitional%20justice" title=" transitional justice"> transitional justice</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=income%20inequality%20and%20displacement" title=" income inequality and displacement"> income inequality and displacement</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=re-territorialization" title=" re-territorialization"> re-territorialization</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/76546/political-economy-of-development-induced-re-territorialization-a-south-african-uppercut" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/76546.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">204</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">1</span> Impact of Capture Effect on Receiver Initiated Collision Detection with Sequential Resolution in WLAN</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Sethu%20Lekshmi">Sethu Lekshmi</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Shahanas"> Shahanas</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Prettha%20P."> Prettha P.</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> All existing protocols in wireless networks are mainly based on Carrier Sense Multiple Access with Collision avoidance. By applying collision detection in wireless networks, the time spent on collision can be reduced and thus improves system throughput. However in a real WLAN scenario due to the use of nonlinear modulation techniques only receiver can decided whether a packet loss take place, even there are multiple transmissions. In this proposed method, the receiver or Access Point detects the collision when multiple data packets are transmitted from different wireless stations. Whenever the receiver detects a collision, it transmits a jamming signal to all the transmitting stations so that they can immediately stop their on-going transmissions. We also provide preferential access to all collided packet to reduce unfairness and to increase system throughput by reducing contention. However, this preferential access will not block the channel for the long time. Here, an in-band transmission is considered in which both the data frames and control frames are transmitted in the same channel. We also provide a simple mathematical model for the proposed protocol and give the simulation result of WLAN scenario under various capture thresholds. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong>
