Editors, reviewers and authors are encouraged to refer to <strong><a href="http://publicationethics.org/" target="_blank">The Committee on Publishing Ethics</a></strong> (COPE) and to follow its <strong><a href="https://publicationethics.org/core-practices" target="_blank">Core practices</a></strong> and <strong><a href="http://publicationethics.org/resources/guidelines" target="_blank">guidelines</a></strong>.</p> <p>Serious misconduct (for example, data fabrication, falsification or plagiarism) is taken seriously and will be investigated further. If misconduct is proven, sanctions will be applied.</p> <p>Before publication, <em>Web of Conferences</em> will randomly review papers from each scientific conference using the powerful text comparison tool: iThenticate. This procedure aims to prevent scholarly and professional plagiarism.</p> <h2>Post-publication article corrections</h2> <p>After publication, it is not possible to replace a PDF file by another one, or to add a correction directly in the published PDF file. Any correction requires to publish a “Publisher note” or a “Corrigendum”. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. <script type='text/javascript'>  </script>.</p> <h2>Requirements</h2> <ul class="simple"> <li>Authors are expected to pursue objectiveness and rigour in all aspects of their work.</li> <li>Authors are obligated to provide retractions or corrections of mistakes.</li> <li>The list of authors should accurately reflect those involved in the work. </li> <li><em>Web of Conferences</em> only considers work that has not been published and is not being considered for publication elsewhere.</li> <li>Editors, authors and peer reviewers must disclose interests that might appear to affect their ability to present or review data objectively.</li> </ul> <h2>Editorial Committee</h2> <p>Editors of the proceedings (who are members of the organizing committee of each event) are responsible for the editorial decisions and editorial processes. The procedures may vary from event to event.</p> <ul class="simple"> <li>The editors of the proceedings are committed to ensuring the quality of the publication and to ensuring that the reported information is ethical, accurate and relevant to the journal. </li> <li>They have full independence and are not dictated to or influenced by any factors (political, commercial, etc.).
