While our daily use of electricity is\noften taken for granted, public concern has arisen about potential\nadverse health effects from electric and magnetic \u2013 electromagnetic \u2013\nfields (EMFs) produced by our use of electricity.\nThis paper aims to compare between the measured magnetic field\nvalues and the simulated models for the indoor medium to low\nvoltage (MV\/LV) distribution substations.\nTo calculate the magnetic flux density in the substations,\ninteractive software SUBCALC is used which is based on closed\nform solution of the Biot-Savart law with 3D conductor model.\nThe comparison between the measured values and the simulated\nmodels was acceptable.
